People also said Kyogo would be brilliant in the championship. To be fair to Birmingham though they have to get one right eventually

Kyogo is comically shit.

Birmingham signing Rak-Sakyi for 16 million, surely not.

No wonder we didn't sign him then.

The thing with Birmingham is, aside from the fact i can't fucking stand them, i just don't see any strategy to what they are doing. I knew the team that came up from League One was nowhere near as good as some were making out and if you did a little bit of digging into their summer transfers, they simply weren't as exciting as many were bigging them up to be. I think a lot of people get caught up by the Blues fans online, but remember they are just low IQ arrogant cunts with too many bin bags. I'm surprised, even though i really shouldn't be, that they are flinging so much shit at the wall again in January, as what are they realistically chasing? I cannot see them getting play offs really but that helmet headed yank tool clearly thinks they can.
How many years can they do this for before it all goes badly wrong? I sincerely hope we get to find out.

I assumed they were trying to ‘do a Chelsea’ and sign so many players that you eventually stumble on a winning side by accident. They also had a Yank owner who probably taught Wagner a bit about how to cheat at FFP.

Thankfully it looks like they’re going nowhere this season, and hopefully it’s a strong league next season with West Ham and Wolves coming down to keep them in this league a while longer.

It seems he may well be off to Celtic for £8 million, if they will accept an obligation to buy in the summer rather than an option. Stoke apparently watching developments with interest.

I think Sarmiento is a fairly standard Championship footballer honestly. That Solis looks honking and that other winger they are after looks pretty crap too. As for Priske, i guess we'll see. The Scandi market is good but its also hit and miss, the standard is quite poor with the Swedish league being the poorest of the 3. Walle Egeli hasn't really done anything to justify his fee so far and he was far more highly rated. Could happen with years on his side of course, but it hasn't yet.
Blues are going for Sarmiento? Why he's just as you say a mid range championship winger.

It's the Barry Fry approach to managing Birmingham City.

They have to get by FFP if this happens no way they have enough revenue to cover it

But his point is every little helps. If we stop picking up PTS it's a good thing if rivals drop pts too

Cautionary tales. Should we try for more players this window? Absolutely. Should we spend stupid money like some are suggesting? Absolutely not.
Stick with the plan.

Norwich had bid 2.5m for the lad who has just scored twice v Man City in Champions League. Not anticipating us having to worry about him on Monday now.

Imagine both Sheaf and City getting promoted, would be amazing. Us going up would be the cherry on top.

Can't abide Wrexham. It would be almost as bad as Birmingham getting promoted.

Yeah in all seriousness it would be legitimately awful for football if Wrexham get promoted.
