They have been absolutely flying - as signing like this, which potentially gives them the best MF in the division, could be a huge worry to us.

It's not a worry to us come on if Watford catch us then at least a couple of others will have already gone past us by that point so we'll have bigger problems. Some of you on here worry about absolutely everything I swear.

We're not averse to the odd project tbf. Some work spectacularly, some bomb, that's the nature of the beast, but we are at least trying it now with lads that have played to a high league one standard minimum and/or have played internationally at some level. Leo has played for England up to under 19 level (scored 2 goals in 5 appearances which isn't bad for a midfielder) and he turned 20 4 months ago.
/
Whilst we do have a fair bit of cash lying about to potentially spend, I actually get the feeling he will get minutes though. The FA Cup match against Fulham may come too soon for his registration etc, but if not I'd give him a run out in it. Likely to be on the bench as a minimum against West Brom in 8 days time, how much he's involved depending on the game itself of course.

In a dream world, he turns out to be another Morgan Rogers, in a Typical Boro event he turns out to be another Micah Hamilton (who we could do with loaning out to a League One club tbh), though I'd be more than happy with a player halfway between the two for now.
Think he should be ok in the Championship once he beds in.
The question is he a top 2 player right now and if you get promoted good enough for the PL?

Can someone calculate how many PPG Watford would need to match our expected points total? And is it more or less than their average number of managers in any given month?

First off let’s judge squads at the end of the window rather than a week in, but secondly if we collect another 30 points for the rest of the season, Watford aren’t a concern.

Still holding out for that dream of a Birmingham Wrexham playoff final. Both Wagner and Reynolds have done so well as plucky underdogs it’d bring a tear to my eye to see them complete the journey.

Maybe it's just me being a grumpy old misery guts, but the thought that tomorrow we'll have even more headlines about the marvellous, fantastic, amazing Wrexham makes me more than a little nauseous.

Quite a swift turnaround for the lad, is he giving off that lad who was on loan with us and now at Hull vibes?

Bit of a head scratcher with Harrison Burrows. I thought he’d get back in the team once Wilder returned but hey-ho. Talk about sliding doors. His goal got ruled out in the PF final to go 2-0 up. Could have been a prem player now can’t get into a struggling champ side.

It would have been interesting if we’d picked him up either from Peterborough or now - linking up with EMC was what made him - pity.

They definitely had a great understanding. Neither is great at defending though so it might have left us quite open down that side.

I see Kai Wagner has scored for Blues. Would have been an excellent signing.

Do you think we could persuade Davies to join our back room staff? Seems really switched on.

Torp and Thomas in both Who Scored and Fantasy EFL team of the season so far. BTA, MvE and Rushworth also make appearances.

Curious question: are we going to track Bamford’s goals for the rest of the season? Or can we drop it now because beyond training with us for a few weeks I’m not quite sure why we still talk about him like he’s Gyokeres
