We should beat them, both sides are very inconsistent but the nature of the games will be different. They will be bigger games for them than us as they may not have much else to play for this season.

The first thing we need in in January are two new strikers now IMHO. We haven't scored in the last 4 games.

We tend to batter almost every single side we play. With a proficient striker up top instead of these puddings we'd probably be top of the league now, it really is that bad. Still throw 15-20M at strikers and we should get back to being the form team of this league on that basis, just worried how far behind we can fall before we can get them in and hit the ground running.
Tbf there's defenders aplenty needed too as with Brittain having to be carried off in this game we now have no fit CBs OR real RBs at the club. It appears a massive injury list if shafting us again this season (as it has since April 23) as we look to be soon taking over Millwall as having the most crocks in the league for the third season running.
I sometimes wonder if our training ground pitches are made from felt stretched over concrete?

I really hope not. Especially if their players are coasting knowing their manager is taking the flack. Id much rather our match was the nail in the coffin for them. seemingly players will put a shift in the game after a sacking to show it was the manager rather than the players themselves not living up to expectations. Southampton and Oxford this season spring to mind. Might be recency bias but it feels that way.Wonder if both our next 2 league games will be against teams without a manager?
