Derby cunts as well ain't they? Still bitter about FL ditching them before.I assume it’s to do some edgelording and provoke the usual suspects on Twitter for engagement. The underlying data don’t suggest over performance.
ImagineDon’t think it’s that mental of a take tbh. I think they are referring more to the short-term than over the season as a whole. The underlying data suggests we’re probably not quite as convincing as early season (which is an almost impossible pace to keep) and we’re heading into a particularly difficult month. Would be amazing if we did get to the turn of the year on 54 points but I ain’t holding my breath.
When we went down, I felt like I was 90. This is now 24 years on, so technically, I am 114.We went down the year i left school and i'm now fucking 40. Can we just get this done now please, its well overdue.

And suspensions. Like say, one key player injured, his cover, suspended.I've long said we wouldn't maintain the pace of the 1st 12 games, not many teams have maintained that sort of momentum.
But I really struggle to see who can put a run together to overtake us.
When you're top realistically your hardest game is away at 2nd place. Well we overcame that challenge quite comfortably at the weekend.
I appreciate that's quite a simplistic view but I honestly don't think there's too much to worry about in the rest of the division.
Shitting the bed for reasons unknown or a massive injury crisis are the only things I can think of to derail us
Russell Martin to Norwich possible looking at the Nodge forum (along with a honking take that Gary O'Neil turned down Wolves cos he knew the Norwich job was about to become available). Absolutely batshit that Manning has been doomed for weeks but they haven't had a replacement lined up. Some serious tutting going on in these parts.just had a gander:
'If Marti goes it will 100% be Martin as his replacement.'
Russell Martin Ball vs our press at The CBS... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
BTA, Saka & Rudi versus a Russell Martin AAATB set up at Carrow Road? With a Patrick Bamford banter goal thrown in at the end? Please god.
I wouldn't bother listening to those pair of geeks.
Literally an abysmal podcast and they just engagement farm on their socials.
Likes usFrom what I've heard of Second Tier, it's pretty poor. The hosts are irritating as well.
I like Benjamin Bloom on YouTube. Seems likeable and usually has a balanced view.

Stoke have essentially unlimited money to spend every season, Swansea don’t.I thought that about Stoke and looked whats happened since Robins came in. Just takes the right manager most of the time.

If they can spend whatever they want it generally helps!Yeah, so adds to my point about the right management appointment making the difference.
We're coming for you,Update on the Opta rankings, never a bad place to be. Next best Championship sides are:

- Boro 125th
- Leicester 140th
- Stoke 158th

It does though, we've scored more, conceded less and have more points than "expected".I assume it’s to do some edgelording and provoke the usual suspects on Twitter for engagement. The underlying data don’t suggest over performance.

Another reason, as if one is needed, we should not be wishing clubs like Stoke or Birmingham to get promoted alongside us. Both would outspend us upon promotion, no doubt about it. I want a couple of complete randoms.Stoke have essentially unlimited money to spend every season, Swansea don’t.
Who does it say should be top overall? It does though, we've scored more, conceded less and have more points than "expected".
Some of that will be merited, expected numbers aren't perfect. But there's room for us to decline.
I'd like to see who they think might overtake us though, Ipswich is the only team I think you can really make a case for. It seems likely that it will be a lower points total needed for autos than recent seasons.
No argument there, just don’t think those two clubs are comparableGenerally helps yes,
But look at the difference Lampard and his coaching staff have made to us, we don't have unlimited funds.
The managerial appointment is crucial, get it right and it can exceed expectations.

We're still top, just by a smaller margin and with less points.Who does it say should be top overall?
69?? mmmm such a nice number!!......... although I hear it's been changed now to 96, the cost of eating out has risen due to inflation!! HahahahaUpdate on the Opta rankings, never a bad place to be. Next best Championship sides are:

Right, so we’re not over performing our position overall. We're still top, just by a smaller margin and with less points.
No, but just being top isn't what has everyone excited, it's the gap we have to 2nd/3rd/7th.Right, so we’re not over performing our position overall.
