They also like a big name like Lampard. We are getting plenty of coverage on Sky.

In fairness, we got quite a bit of coverage under Robins when we were marching up the table. It’s difficult to schedule teams in who are doing poor leading up to the New Year, which was the case over the last 3 seasons. We only got more games on Sky last season when we were in the playoff picture. That’s how it felt to me.

Lampard seems to do a lot more interviews at various outlets but he is more comfortable and warmer to the media than Robins ever was. Robins cuts a much more reserved figure compared to Lampard. Did MR ever do the fist pump to the fans after a big win?

It's one thing to be a WUM of the football pitch, but another to accuse someone falsely of racism.

I'm fine with balance of probability for this, it's not a criminal conviction. It would have taken into account things like instinctive reaction, which is very unlikely to be faked.

Nah they missed a trick with their choices but I'm cool with that,so long as it doesn't affect the money we get for being chosen, money to money and all that!

He's one hell of an actor if he made it up as he looked to be genuinely shocked and angry. Osmajić also had a guilty look on his face.

Fairly sure it’s the same as when John Terry got done for racism against Anton Ferdinand. It’s not a court of law, after all.

Im not sure, there was a video of that and whilst not proven 100% there was definitely something said and Anton's reaction at the very least genuinely thought he heard it. Is still interpretation but a bit more clear cut than someone just saying it I think.

That win against Watford looking very decent at the moment. They have a lot of fast, talented players.

I thought they are the best team we've played all season and on another day, they would have put 4 past us.

I think it’s the fear teams now have playing against us. We have made some good sides bottle it against us.
Hope the same tomorrow

Edwards is almost certainly going to force his move to Wolves by refusing to take training today and not be at the press conference

I can’t recall a manager behaving like that. It’s not a good reflection on him at all.

Think he did something similar when he left Forest Green for Watford.

Crap goalkeeping by Watford keeper. Decent free kick, though.

Bloody obvious where he was going to aim for. Keeper at fault with his positioning imo. Good effort by Twine, though.

Edit: Does the Watford keeper look quite similar to Chris Kirkland? Might be my eyes

The Edward's saga if you were thinking of recruiting him wouldn't you think twice given his current treatment of his employers

Thought he was lucky to get Boro job after last season. Geezer loves the smell of his own farts though. He'll have 2 Prem relegations on his CV at the end of all this, as well as setting the wheels in motion for a Championship relegation.

How did he ever manage that with those plucky minnows? They'd only won the league 11 of 12 seasons prior to him lifting them from the abyss.

I wouldn’t usually indulge in this, but I’ve had a few beers.

Firstly, for the record, I don’t think Edwards has done anything particularly brilliant in his managerial career so far aside from getting Forest Green promoted from L2. He’s a bit of a vanilla manager for me. Wants to play a passing style, was fortunate in riding the crest of a wave at Luton which may have given him delusions of grandeur. Nevertheless…

Kompany has a Bayern team that is expected to steamroller that league, what with Dortmund a shadow of themselves a few years back and Leverkusen throwing the towel in when Alonso went. His key test is in the Champions League - admittedly he’s doing rather well this time around. But to have the arrogance to think you could take a team up from the Championship and continue playing tiki-taka style football against teams that are, at absolute worst, your equals was disgraceful and full of self-interest. I refuse to think that was the sign of a good manager - it was a sign of a coach wedded to a philosophy despite not having the players to implement it and that is not a good trait in a top manager.

I also hate him for wearing that cap and blazer combination. Worse dress sense than Rudoni.

Watford 1 - 1 Bristol City

Decent result for us, now we just need to pick up another 3 points at Stoke.
