I don't think they have the dough to do it. They probably need 10 starters to not be in a relegation battle. Not so cheap in the Championship and with wages on top.I think the Championship FFP is stricter than the lower leagues version as well, think I read something about how the rules on owner funding is a lot tighter etc.
Also noises coming out of Wrexham seem like they are not going all in this year and the signing of Hardie points at a more sensible approach for this league.
