Burnley look like us at the back pass it about to each other and then pass it out of play.

Burnley's playing out from the back will be their undoing.

I’m extremely jealous of Sunderland.
In Rigg and Bellingham they have two players there who dwarf the potential of anyone in our squad

Surprised at that. Stylistically quite different from his predecessor.

Burnley are wasting some good chances and they have decided to target the sunderland lb jds style

And yet we got a draw at Sunderland’s place and have them both to play at home.

Yes I’m sure we will get a result at both.

It wasn’t even a contest vs Burnley. Both are miles better than us

It'll be rather depressing to see this Burnley team promoted again

We literally played Sunderland when they didn’t have Bellingham or Ballard and they hadn’t signed Le Fee.

Next time we play them it won’t be as easy

We could have made a contest at Burnley but Carr completely flapped it

We've played them with two of those three before, they're not world beaters ffs

Played them under a different manager when they were missing players that have added to their system.

They are miles better than us

They've done well this season but they're not that good at all. They're just back at a similar level they were the season we got to the play offs

Yes and we are worse, so they are much better than us at the moment.

We were never getting anything at Burnley too, they never got out of first gear

I wouldn’t say similar at all. They limited us to 1 shot on target all game.

it was a cakewalk for them

Incidentally, Sunderland haven't had a shot on target yet.

They had one big chance in that game, xG of <1. We had gone there to defend with bizarrely Bassette as a lone striker.

Tonight so far they've got an xG of 0.71 and one big chance.

Yet they have had 7 shots and 1 big chance which is much more than we could muster.

Fair enough if you see it different, but I remember the apathy on here during that game. We didn’t lay a glove on them at all, Sunderland have given them significantly more trouble tonight.

I'm not disagreeing, we went there with the wrong mentality but we weren't easy to beat and lost because of goalkeeper errors for both goals. Sunderland have tried to take the game to them but created very little despite the superior quality attacking players they have.

It’s Burnley’s style of play. Concede extremely few but also score very very few I guess

Indeed, as I said earlier it's quite depressing that they're going to be promoted again and back here in 18 months
