I actually think Rooney will turn out to be a decent manager in the long-term.

Luton fans absolutely slating Edwards - short memories, football fans. Nathan Jones will be filling in his application form already!

Doesn't mean much coming from you though fair to say? You say league winning managers are crap two seasons in a row?

One is now manager of Bayern and the other Chelsea

Not even trolling. Just wondering if you ever admit you got something wrong or not?

Kompany especially was a weird one to put down. Can kinda understand maresca a bit but even then that was premature.

He was a bit selfish in terms of other players on the scene just to the edge of the area and when his first attempt didn't go in I did wonder!

He is a good manager and he's now suffering from getting such a brilliant level of performance out of a relatively ordinary team

This predicted final Championship table makes depressing reading for Sky Blues fans:

Sky Bet Championship | League Table | Predicted Final League Table | 2024-2025 | Football Web Pages

Live Football Scores, League Tables, Form Guides, Attendances, Latest News and other stats from the Premier League, Football League and Non-League football
www.footballwebpages.co.uk

When you look how far we are behind Oxford United it is a miracle we have beaten them twice.

The season has only just started. You did this before with Gerrard.

Never said he wasn't a good manager did I?

However ordinary? Last season everyone on here was wanking over lutons transfer strategy saying they would win championship if they came back down because it was so smart.

I did and I accepted I got that one wrong. Most managers I have good track record with though

Just funny that people on here slaughtered Kompany for wanting to play football in the prem whilst praising Edwards tactics. One works long term the other perhaps requires some stars to align?

He got the job at Bayern because of his teams style of play end of the day.

Keeper should be doing much better for Plymouth’s second goal.

i) It's laughable.

ii) He won't need an app form... He's probably got a 'Luton release clause' in his contract!

Certainly seems determined to make it, would have been easy for him to knock it on the head after Birmingham like many thought he should.

If he continues learning from his mistakes and keeps going he could well become a decent manager.

Tbf to him he did a respectable job at Derby in the hardest circumstances possible.

DC united MLS is a very weird league so I can't even judge him on that.

Birmingham... John Eustace is clearly a better manager, and Rooney had to go in and do better which wasn't going to be achievable. It was actually a very poor Birmingham team anyway that Eustace had managed to get results with.

As you say fair play to him for sticking with it when he really doesn't need to.

Sheff weds getting away with some clear cut yellows here. Refs so inconsistent. Their defender hacks someone down when baggies striker about to be played through on goal and then their striker punches ball into crowd to give them time to reset for a goal kick.

Official robbing Derby of a result here, goal giving, out by at least six inches for sergeant to pull it back for somebody else to tap in, been giving them decisions all half, looks familiar to me!

Shocking decisions at Derby. Two balls blatantly out of play. Still happened to our advantage vs Plymouth last season.

There's definitely a pattern to it ,soft fouls given them etc, big team or whatever it is, unconscious bias or whatever.
