Bright orange ones to help him transition from Luton. Which reminds me, bright red ones for the Sunderland game next week. Got to make them feel at home.

I think if we could afford it he’d be one of those signings top four clubs make that comes on and does a job in certain circumstances. Not sure we can afford what he’d want for that role though.

The bookies had Luton finishing top 6 , most people thought Luton would finish top 6

Ya top 6 I just never thought they would contend for autos like some said on here

People were saying they were so smart and amazing recruitment and would yo-yo back up

I didn't see that happening. Think they missed a trick with recruitment . Should have gone all out to stay in prem

I thought they’d kept the core squad intact that got them to third last time and would have parachute cash to spend on top. Got it spectacularly wrong.

I personally thought they'd challenge at the top and i didnt expect 2 teams to get 100 points, didnt expect Sheffield United to get 90 points and I didnt expect cardiff to finish bottom

Well I did and I put money on it and won 17 million

Nah I wasn't actually trolling BSB I just meant are you sure you wanna tip them to win league 1 that's all.

I think financially they are in good place though so should contend and with new stadium coming they prob still a club who have good times ahead.

I wish them no Ill will anymore. I'm glad they went down as it kinda makes me feel better for dabo missed pen but I have no issue with them bouncing back.

One of best games I ever saw in my childhood was Luton beating west ham with Scott Oakes scoring so always had a little soft spot for them up until 2 years ago tbh

It’s been a funny ol’ season alright. I thought Luton would go back up and that Millwall would be relegated!
Likewise with Cardiff. They finished well last year and seemed to have a decent manager and some decent additions.
Ah well.

They will still have parachute payments and will raise millions more from player sales so they really should be looking at an immediate return.

Do they still get parachute payments? I’m sure someone on here said they won’t get them in league 1?

Yeah I won't argue on that. I expect then to contend

This year I just didn't think they would be as strong as some thought they might be that's all

Something definitely went wrong that no one saw coming of course

The way they celebrated Dasilva’s red card last week, i do not care… and I think they might even struggle in Div 3

Arguably that mistake and Luton winning dragged Preston into it.

Knew they would give Brizzle a run for their money on the last day.

All in the plan

They could have waited until the start of the new season and got the first one as this may not be the last one this season.

Probably sack the next manager after a few below par pre-season results.

INSANE! Cleverley is easily one of the best managers in the league. That Watford team is garbage.

Nah not this cliché. It's a perfectly decent form of recruitment in this league to pick out the best players from relegated teams. Obviously not all of them are going to be of interest but they all have a couple you'd look at for sure. Salech at Cardiff looks a very interesting player for example, as is Robertson in midfield. I'd have an eye on both of those.

The left back that Liverpool got from a relegated Hull team turned out OK didn't he! Maguire wasn't to shabby either.

Done well to last as long as he did, surprised they didn’t get rid of him around the time we played them at home.

Feel sorry for all those league one club fans who have to go to the dilapidated shit hole of a ground. Its not fit for non league let alone league one. The place is dangerous and an embarrasement
