We are Coventry City, it’s not in our best interests to be picking at the carcass of shit relegated teams.

Stay quiet about Rudoni.

Nah not this cliché. It's a perfectly decent form of recruitment in this league to pick out the best players from relegated teams. Obviously not all of them are going to be of interest but they all have a couple you'd look at for sure. Salech at Cardiff looks a very interesting player for example, as is Robertson in midfield. I'd have an eye on both of those.

I’d like to buy Bundu from Plymouth just to let Allen have his revenge

Some interesting players from the sides gone down imo if we are still in the championship next season.

Alfie Dougherty, Bali Mumba, Alex Robertson, and Theo Asagard are the immediate ones that come to mind.

No reason he can’t come here recover and get back to previous levels

Yes a genius and shrewd signing, signing a player who’s 2 weeks into an ACL injury.

christ.

Hasn’t had a great season but would definitely suit us if he can get back to his best.

Edit not worth the wait with a ACL mind

Aasgaard is the player I’d want from there if anyone. Looks to be rapidly improving

Jones has never really impressed me. Doughty a very solid choice though.

We could do so much better than Adebayo, ACL or no.

I'm not allowing myself to go there yet. In my mind we're recruiting for another season at this level.

Find Rubin Colwill quite an interesting player from a recruitment perspective. Not a world beater by any stretch but young, physical and positionally versatile.

The club will have 2 recruitments lined up tho. They have no choice really so as not to be left behind regardless of which level we are at.

Luton player sent off for horror two-footed tackle just 36 seconds after coming on as substitute

A Championship cameo very much to forget.

Ryan Smart

Luton Town midfielder Liam Walsh was sent off during his side's Championship clash with Oxford United - just 36 seconds after coming on as a substitute.

This hippie had them down for 3rd. Safe to say nobody was predicting double relegation.

Real talk - if we're talking about making the step up, promotion this season or not, players going down with relegated teams ain't it.

We aren't the Cov of old anymore. Sure we're not flush with cash, but the players that will continue to improve this squad are those that are ready for (or just about ready) for the level.

Ignoring that Rudoni came from a relegated side, players who stand out in struggling teams clearly are worth considering.

A majority of us had Luton as promotion candidates. They made a better fist at staying in the premier league than they did in the championship. Don’t think anyone thought they’d be in a relegation battle this season
