To me the quality of centre forwards is way way down on what it used to be and no one can tell me otherwise. Players that couldn't even get in the likes of Brazils squads regularly would be among the best around right now. The original poster said modern football is pish compared to 10-15 years ago - it’s not, the technical standards are higher and the game is more popular.And I thought that was dull too. Fine if you like it I just find modern football a bit boring mostly.
