All season and lot on here speak very disparaging of Sheffield United, and honestly i cannot see why

They are joint top with a 2 point deduction. They are a quality side with the best keeper in the league in Michael Cooper, players like Ahmedhozic at the back, and of Course Hamer etc

Genuinely don't see why people feel they are so beatable. Personally feel our next defeat happens at Bramall Lane at the end of the month.

I'm the opposite in regards to Burnley, i wouldn't mind them in a final whatsoever. Yes they keep clean sheets but in a one off final anything can happen and if we were to score first, everything's out the window

Sunderland i don't want in the final if we get there. Sods law it will be the 1 time they ever beat us, and the day would be ruined by the inevitable trouble

I remember going on the Sheff Utd board two seasons ago and they were laughing that we expected to beat them at their place. We were never really in it.

They are flat-track bullies who specialise in unconvincing wins against inferior opposition. They have 1 win against the current top 6 so far. Tbf even my mate who supports them says they have been poor.
It would be tough sure but I'd take them over Burnley all day.

Yeah that's my feeling too. Obviously having a good season, have quality players but they just don't look as in control of matches as the other two do.

That atmosphere at Portsmouth. They truly have a 12th man...its incessant from minute 1 plain Ridiculous.

Without a shadow of a doubt the best and most intimidating by a country mile in all my travels.

Perhaps that’s why the ref didn’t give Leeds a penalty when the Portsmouth guy nearly took his leg off

So apparently the Pompey vs Leeds game was on ITV at the weekend...since when did ITV start showing games live?

Going back and looking at the TV schedule for Sunday, it says 3. Portsmouth vs Leeds...which reads to me that that might have been the 3rd match they've shown recently.

Anyone see any press release on ITV showing games?

Yeah I was surprised to see the Portsmouth Leeds game was on "normal TV" on Sunday so ended up watching it.
Was interested to see what other games were being shown on ITV but Google still only shows results for the initial two games shown in January! Weird

ITV to broadcast live Sky Bet Championship fixtures

I don't have Sky or a dodgy firestick, so would be nice if this continues

They showed M'Boro v Sunderland (on a Monday evening iirc). Can't remember the first game (about a month before, although I watched it!)

Can remember him going on about David Speedie having a bust-up with a vice-chairman after a midweek game once, portraying it to be the end of moral civilisation as we know it and how he should be sent to the stocks.

Pat Murphy is the same on Five Live.

We was by Gary Newbastard and Stuart Hall at the Wembley 1987 cup final and we supporters gave them so much shit they left. My proudest moment made seeing the pair of twats on the evening news all the better

18% possession by Plymouth at Portsmouth and 2-0 up. Even more of a smash and grab than Derby did to us.

Starting to see only MBoro or Bristol City as the ones who could dislodge us. Everybody seems to be conspiring to mess up ( rather like the season before last) Admittedly still a long run in to the finish ( a Cheltenham reference to keep it topical)

Watford and Blackburn in 9th and 10th are only four points behind us.
That could easily disappear over the next three games.
Last night was far from ideal. A win would have taken a bit of pressure off these three upcoming games.

Not inconceivable that the 3 promoted from L1 last season could all get relegated. Plymouth, Derby, Oxford ???

Edit @Irish Sky Blue has correctly pointed out that it was Pompey, not Plymouth, last season. Mea culpa,

4 points from 9 games is massive for teams struggling with results. Blackburn losing to Stoke tonight was massive. Watford have a GD of -3.

Just shows how important being on it every game if we had beaten Derby we would of been 5 points clear yet even with these results we could be out of the play offs after Saturday.Dont fancy us to get anything against Sunderland as we can't defend.
