All the managers they've had can't all be shit surely? Maybe the players are the problem or upper management too

Heard an interview with Jay Bothroyd the other day talking about clubs constantly changing managers and the affect it has on the dressing room.

He said out of favour players down tools because they know the manager won't be their long and they hope they'll get their chance under the new guy.

Was saying that when they know the manager has the board behind him and is expected to have a bit of longevity they knuckle down.

It was quite a good interview.

Not really Championship, but glad Posh beat Wrexham tonight (pens) after Wrexham were 2-0 up, to meet Blues at Wembley in the 'whatever Cup final' . Couldn't stand another Blues/Wrexham/Yankee love fest.

Important game tonight Shef W and Sunderland. A sunderland win may not have as much impact on our own top 6 chances but I cant stand Sunderland and another loss would have an impact on them given their current form which would be great when we play them in a couple of weeks.

A shef W win would just put another team in the mix for those last two playoff spots which we could do without.
Best outcome for us I think is a draw with a couple of injuries to both clubs or a Shef win

Agre about the draw thoug failing that think I'd prefer a Mackem win.
Sooner some of the teams around us start to fall away the better as far as I'm concerned.

We definitely want to get past that point where 1 defeat could see about 3 teams go flying past you. I guess the next 3 games is a reasonable chance for us to do so.

I think we can still reach Sunderland with us on a good run - they loose this one and we beat them we can get that bit closer

Yeah, exactly this. It's already started - two or three have fallen away over the last week. Each team that falls off takes pressure away from our own games, and that's a lot more valuable than some hyper slim chance of catching Sunderland.

And it's draining trying to work out all the permutations when theres 10 teams involved!

There is no point worrying about other team's results, especially at this time of the season. Just concentrate on our own target and it'll be fine.

I agree although just a couple of games ago 16th and above were still in contention. Now it would have to be a great run by any club below 11th. The rest are minimum 6 points behind with an inferior GD with just 12 games to go.

It doesn’t sound like you agree!

I think it’s impossible not to get embroiled in looking at what else is going on. As someone else mentioned, now the time that every goal seems to get me wondering about the possible permutations! It’s a fucking unavoidable/welcome ballache!

Sunderland 1 up. Clear handball not given for goal.
Sheffield Wednesday not given penalty for handball in their box.

Ive seen Sunderland a few times lately and still cant work out if they are lucky or good. They certainly are dangerous if given time in the last 3rd but im not overly impressed by them as a team. Few more goals in this game i think

They are due to play Sheff Utd just before us, so hopefully will be up for that and crock aa few players in time for the play offs (assuming Burnley get 2nd)

2 of their players went off injured tonight, how bad I dunno but could be pretty damaging if either are out long, they're already struggling defensively playing some player in unfamiliar roles.

Boro winning, shame.

Let’s hope Stoke can keep holding Watford.

We really should beat Stoke with ease, and Derby who are now bottom of the Championship.

Whilst they can be misleading, the stats from that game point to an absolute honk fest.

I fully expect to MR to park the bus next week. If we don't score early it could be a frustrating watch.

Derby really are appalling

They must be throwing eye wateringly high amounts of money at Eustace to have got him as their squad is garbage and doomed to fail at this level

I understand he probably didn't feel he had the resources to take Blackburn up but I bet he feels like a twat for taking that job, could have got a much better one

I don't expect them to add to their one away win this season that's for sure. Bloody awful team and I hope we spank them.
