An extra game for Stoke tonight and a chance for Boro to make up some ground. Pity this this game isn’t next week to increase fatigue before playing us.

I'd be fuming if one of our players came on to the pitch in the state Hamer was last night, (not that it would happen).
I wouldn't swap him for Rudoni.

I remember this from earlier in the season. I'm not sure it's just the camera angle either - Coventry City: Gus Hamer and Callum O'Hare set to return to former club with Sheffield United

Hopefully Stoke win but pick up a couple of injuries/suspensions, though them at home should be the easiest of our up and coming fixtures.

Not sure if mentioned but two significant injuries for Sunderland. Ballard and Le Fee expected to be out for 6-8 weeks.
Le Fee is a massive loss for them. Ballard one of the first names on the teamsheet. Would compare it to us losing the quality of players like Sheaf and Wright. It's a big hit.

Yes he did. But we're coming towards the end of this season and he still hasn't lost the summer enjoyment weight.

I agree. Hamer has more in his locker ATM but Rudoni is still learning. And what a teacher he has in Lampard. I can see Rudoni making it all the way to the top. And hopefully with us.

Boro are currently 1-0 up at useless Stoke.

Anyone listening to the Hull commentary on their game? I think I’ve found the greatest ever local radio commentator…

Bit off subject, but was last night's game the reason why we played Leeds a fortnight ago rather than tonight/Weds?

It might be a blessing in disguise to have played then, lost (like everyone else at present) and not have a midweek game in 3 weeks.

They played last night and last Monday, so ruled both those weeks out.

heard/read we didn’t want to play it when we did, but efl pushed it/we had little choice. Not sure if CBS commitments also had bearing.

They are shit, I bet Robins has regrets going there now although probably a nice little pay off once sacked.

I still think they will escape the drop. Then again I said that about Birmingham last season and they fell through the trap door

Nobody has any games in hand left now, so it’s a straight run in to the end

There's only really Millwall and Preston of the teams who are anywhere near us involved.

The closest competitors that are still in the FA Cup are Millwall, with Preston next. Don’t think we need to worry too much about games in hand.

Only makes you wonder if you thought MR wasn't limited. I like MR but he is tactically limited and that was something we all seen after Adi and DL left leaving him standing on his own.
