If we followed Luton's path and got relegated, what would the attendance be on the first game back in League 1?

Yeah that's what I'd say.

I think we'd maintain 18-20k average. Even with back to back relegations, people are in the routine of going.

I did say Bloomfield needed time before he came. After only really doing well for half a season.

They needed experience above all. Should of got Warnock

The problem is his preferred style and system is really not suited to the players Luton have.

Had he stayed he’d likely be in this league next season anyway, just jumped ship at the first opportunity.

Bloomfield showed at Wycombe that he needs 12 months to get going.

Was not a good appointment for a dogfight

It's not how it works no but surely running a successful stadium is good for the City and surrounding areas and would gain favour with local planning authorities

Short sighted from both of them, Luton and Bloomfield.

Just looking at bosses out of work. I would have backed Ryan Lowe there to get them out of this mess.

Is it me or do a few of the Luton players look a bit heavy?

Think it’s his role in the team tbh. I’d like him at us think he’d be great as LB/LWB long term

He's a LW playing playing LWB so yeah you are right he is shite at defending, he'll make a tackle but his positional sense is way off.

There's a decent enough LW there but if he played LWB for us the match threads would be full of posts slagging him off for letting the opposition RW in behind him.

He said a few weeks ago they had no chance of going down. Sounds like they're just expecting to get out of it

Alfie Doughty: Luton have 'no chance' of relegation says versatile wing-back

Luton Town have "no chance" of being relegated because of the quality they now have in their squad, according to Alfie Doughty.

Mad that him and Van Nistelrooy were seriously touted as options. Also mad that Lampard was tbf!

I said to a bloke when leaving yesterday that I thought Preston were the worst id seen this season. He said he thought Luton were the worst.
I don’t remember them being THAT bad, just that we were much improved and unlucky to be 2 down at halftime…and that taking off Chong was a really daft move for them. How has he been doing?

Luton have lost what they had to get promoted! That was fight for everything and never die attitude the players have given up and looking how to get out of the club at the end of the season. I thought Morris was Luton through and through but looking at his body language even he has gone! .

That has to be about money, Luton and Wycombe swapping places next season.

There's a good chance we would have had Gyokeres and Hamer. We don't know if we would have invested or not.

Personally I think Luton did the right thing. They will have banked a lit of money for a new ground. Much better than spending 100m and going straight back down and having a fire sale as they couldn't afford the wages.

Yes it looks like they're going down again. But it wouldn't cost a lot to get a League 1 winning side together. Just need the right manager.

Doughty is a good player, but he has a Charlie Adam's type gut (looks overweight to me, for a professional footballer)

Sat and watched the Luton game earlier

They really were dreadful, for a derby game that was a pathetic performance

Bloomfield the wrong appointment there, Edwards probably needed to move on but he would have kept them up at least

Edwards looked finished when they played Middlesboro. Don't think he would of had them playing any better than Bloomfield.

Disagree, they were beating the teams around them at least whilst Edwards was there

He’d have beaten Plymouth the other night for example
