A number of teams have ‘stuff’ in away changing rooms. Often there may be a root support in the middle of the room so that a coach cannot make eye contact with all the players at the same time etc

Weird move, what on earth has he done to to land that job?

Psychological warfare, I like it.

Then there’s the bottled water supply, spiked with enough laxative to cause a few sharting incidents…followed by the Happy Shopper-grade bog roll, bwahaha…

I'd be very surprised if he was their first choice but I do think he could be successful with the players he'd have at his disposal there.

His issue in the PL is he needed to be more pragmatic. Whilst it's commendable to stick to your principles, the gulf in quality is too great to be truly competitive trying to play the way they did with inferior players.

I bet he wasn’t the fifth choice, it’s a massive job and her probably thought it’s better to be there at the top rather than going up and down with Burnley a couple of years success and wait for the Man City job

I mean he could be successful but Tuchel is far more qualified and failed.

I sort of assumed they would get in Poch or were waiting for ETH to get the boot from United

It happens - the away changing rooms at professional clubs can sometimes be akin to what you find in Saturday local football.
The away dressing rooms at the CBS, although fairy spacious are literally wooden rails/benches seating. West Brom away dressing room is smaller than ours and is like a school changing room, again, with wooden rail seating....compared to their home dressing room having individual club coloured leather upholsted seats, multiple flat screen TV tactical displays, separate sub/coach areas etc.....
Played at Hereford and Mansfield years and years ago (Hereford were in the football league)
Hereford's was probably the worst football changing room I have ever been in at any level.

Mmm thinking back to the Burnley documentary Kompany is very measured in what he says -this will be very attractive to the Germans as they like accuracy and logic !

On a glamorous pre season tour of Leicestershire we played Braunstone Town. There was piles of dog shit in our 6-yard box and the changing room had no ceiling and there was a dead bird in it.

It was probably the Leicester version of The Wicker Man.

Can't emphasise how funny Rooney getting the Brummies relegated and landing a job with the side who stayed up instead actually is

Burnley want massive money for Kompany . I dont think they will pay when others may be out there without the fee.

At what stage in his life is Wayne Rooney going to realise he is NOT a good manager?

He's had 3 managerial roles so far. Win ratios are 28.2%, 26.4% and 13.3%.

If we're lucky we'll get them opening day of the season, or at least before he's sacked.

That’ll be Argyle fucked then. Deary me.

Might as well employ a sack of potatoes as head coach, as well.

Apparently, he's getting the Plymouth job on a three year contract. Reported to be announced over the weekend.

Nice work, if you can get it.
