How were Birmingham predicted to be around 10-11th?!

Interesting that Derby’s predicted finish was 15th. Which, even without their points deduction, they didn’t achieve.

So, all those who have criticized MR and team over the season should hang their heads in shame !
You know who you are !

Assuming squad values taken from Transfermarkt or something similar. Doesn't look like it's transfer fees.

I would be interested in the breakdown of Barnsley’s squad being worth £22m

So how were the teams ranked 1st and 2nd who incidentally finished 2nd and 1st, supposed to feature high on this? They achieved what they set out to and to be realistic this table needs other weighting. It doesn't take a genius to see that small budget, above average finish will see you rank highly, but Fulham and Bournemouth at 12 and 15 is ridiculous.

You see rather like on the politics thread you do jump in and go with things you like to hear

The data says hamer Gyokeres and o hare are together worth £7 million if we sold them today and in fact waghorn is worth nearly as much as o hare.

Bidwell is worth the same as o hare abs Clarke Salter nearly as much as hamer

How people still cite Transfermarkt as a credible source is beyond me.

We should sell Waghorn for £900k, get Brennan Johnson out of it and sell him to Brentford for £20m. Bet Dave’s already on the blower

It’s a rough guide. Anyone genuinely think we haven’t finished higher than our comparative budget?

This is not budget though? It’s perceived player value in the transfer market Weighted across every squad player

Birmingham are cited but they have players on large salaries who they can’t move on - so that’s not even comparable - but this isn’t a rough guide even it’s just a bit pointless

Yeah just seems a waste of the authors time tbh, not anything insightful or interesting
