Hackney as REFL Player of the year + Plus the best team to play QPR away cup is quite a good season for Boro

Ipswich don't have a nomination, but the have won the 'We beat the league winners twice trophy'. Funnily enough we are the most recent holders from doing the double over Fulham

He should win it to be honest.

All you need to do is to avoid the bad results and only focus on the good results. That way his tenure has been as perfect as it gets

Hellberg and Hackney should be the two winners here.

Not an Ipswich or Wrexham manager or player in sight. Finally, some proper justice!

I await the Athletic long read on which Wrexham players should have been nominated and how missing out on the play offs would actually strengthen the master plan

The list is about right, the only consideration is Sorba Thomas for Azeez based on weight of Goal contributions.

Take a guess at what some of the comments are on this. 'Tonda' is the new 'Enzo'.

EFL awards: Lampard, Neil, Jakirovic and Hellberg up for manager award

Taking off my sky blue glasses for this I can see why Neil and Jakirovic have been nominated. Millwall have the second highest amount of wins after us. Hull only stayed up last season by GD and started the season under restrictions.

Hellberg? If him and Hackney both get it it would rightfully be called a fix. To me he is 4th on the list.

Yeah but…but…but they pass it around really good and QPR’s manager said they are the best team in the league.

Neil will end up winning manager of the season if Millwall end up in the Top 2 I think

It will be Hackney and Lampard.

Hackney can come and be a Cov premier league player next season.

The only silver lining on Rushworth not winning would be if it kept the price lower, but he should win it by a mile.

Does that mean he'll fuck off in the Summer and then get binned off for being shite by Chelsea?

Does this mean he's gonna get a big job at Chelsea and win the club world cup and conference league?

Hackney winning would be a travesty.
Just give the manager award to Hellberg to complete the farce

He's not been as influential as Rushworth. If he had they wouldn't be shitting the bed.
All the same, good player.

If you swap the two players around in the respective teams for the season, then I don't think we'd be autos if we had Hackney. Would they if they had Rushworth?

If you swapped Rushworth with Brynn we definitely wouldn’t. If you swapped Hackney with Grimes, maybe.

Rushworth was our keeper for our blip so can't be too harsh on one player for poor form

I think rushworth deserves it btw

You’d be swapping Hackney for Torp and Wilson in goal I guess. Hackney would be on double figures in this side I reckon.

True, and them not signing a striker was not down to him.
Just think Rushworth has been immense.
