I agree with what you say, but it still doesn't get away from the fact that when you score a goal in the premier league your thoughts are 'Yessss - I think we might have scored!' Then about 1 minute later its 'Yes - we have'

That’s pretty tragic if true - obviously I won’t know first hand about that until next season of course.

Burnley win the league if they win this right? Plus they piss on Blackburns play off chances.. can't see Burnley losing this one.

Got to hope Burnley turn up, which is questionable after a few suspect results.

We might even give that tosser Bellamy a few redemptions points if he can help get them up for the local derby.

They would love to win the league there tonight they detest each other.

I'm hoping Blackburn are winning going into injury time but then concede a couple of late goals.

I wish I was as confident as you. If Blackburn make it a tough physical game, which i expect them too, then Burnley players might back off a little, not wanting to spend their well earned Summer break on the treatment table. I'm not sure the Burnley players will be as invested in the teams' rivalry as the fans are either, and at this point I would be happy if the game were a draw so that Blackburn at least stay behind us going into these last 2 games.

That said, come on Burnley, stick it up them

Blackburn have a number of injuries, and a fairly young squad, of course some seasoned pros but not sure they have the squad to make it as much of a tough physical match as you are making out.

One bad decision by a player could mean the same - should we give them video assistance in the middle of the game to overturn their mistakes too?

And they well angry about it, their allocation has been halved which they say is unnecessary and spiteful because of Burnley doing so well, no love lost up there, I fancy a spicy game tonight.

Spicy enough for you?

It’s in our own hands now. Win both games and we can’t finish worse than 6th. If results go our way, boro game may not mean anything. That’d be a great position to be in.

Results now needed for play-off qualification on Saturday:

Coventry WIN vs Birmingham (duh)
Millwall LOSE away vs Blackpool
Blackburn LOSE home vs Luton (DRAW would also mean they can't catch us without overturning 13+ GD on the final day)
West Brom LOSE or DRAW away vs Sheff Utd AND LOSE or DRAW home vs Norwich
Preston LOSE or DRAW away vs Sheffield Utd (this game doesn't matter if we win and all the other results go our way as Preston play Sunderland on the last day and they can't both go above us)

Sunderland result doesnt matter in terms of qualification for the play-offs on Saturday, although it would be nice for them to LOSE home vs Watford which would guarantee us 5th with all other results going our way.

Well yeah that would do it, I'm purely talking about us being able to wrap it up on Saturday and be able to go to Middlebrough stress free on the final day.

Imagine that.

Would you limit the game time of some of the integral members of the team or go all out for the win and the momentum/psychological boost?

Still plenty of permutations including Luton nipping into the autos, Sheffield need a result v West Brom tomorrow or their bum might be squeaking. I’m sure there will be a curve ball it’s just the way this division has been.

Preston can't catch us if we beat Birmingham. 3 points behind us 2 games to go and our GD is better by 18.

Last 2 Coventry Games

Birmingham have nothing to play for but wont want to make it easy for Coventry.

Middlesbrough could end up facing Coventry with nothing to play for and will not want to risk injuries.

Bear with me long post coming up .Wonder if anyone else is suffering from my condition .I keep dreaming a lot.Last night dreamt of claret and blue good dream.Suffice to say I'm being treated they're going to put me in a deep sleep for a monthThey will wake me up late Saturday night 27th May.I'am bothered just looked at my notes at the end of the bed.If I show any signs of waking up this Saturday or a week next Monday, start talking / singing about 2 Cathedrals or even about some Brazillion who cost a million. They've got to give me more sedation.Even stranger on 27th of May some guy called otis is going to transfer me to West London to a big unit in HA9.Apparently there will be plenty of people in Red and White who hate some guy called Hill and thousands is light blue watching some match or other after that I can be woken up. Anybody else got anything like this.

64% for us, 46% for Millwall and 43% for Sunderland.

EDIT: BUT !!! This also shows we have 69 pts when in reality, it's only 66. So either this is end of season and 538 thinks we'll only win 1 more game or they've screwed the stats.

Don’t get the Millwall results. They’ve got them getting 4 points but winning both games.
