Has anybody been watching this programme ? Where 4 well known celebs are locked in a small trailer room for 5 days, see how they cope on their own etc. They don't know the time, in other words cut off from technology, and with just basic stuff like a toilet, and a bed. Eddie Hall is in there, the strong man, but he's struggling as are all of them. Not sure if its for charity although that hasn't been mentioned, but if they get paid, I'd do it no problem ! So here's my question. Could you last 5 days locked in a small room, no phone etc, no awareness of time, but they are allowed to take in something, like a jigsaw, writing material, dumb bells, just a basic item. No music though. I'd take in writing material,or a big book, and just get on with it !

Two women in the last series were interviewed about their experience in there ? One of them only lasted five hours ! But the other did the 5 days and loved it. I remember in my prison days being in the block in Stafford nick, and had to do ten days. They took your bed out in the day, so it was a piss pot, and a chair and table, and allowed one book to read. I actually was that bored all I did was sleep in the chair, did press ups, and read the book about three times. It felt like a month when I was let back on the wing, but I didn't let the screws see I hated it, and wound them up by smiling and saying can I book a month in there please !

So, when you are saying 'no music' in there, do you mean I wouldn't be allowed to take an instrument that I can play myself? Or does it just mean in terms of listening to music, i.e. CD player/MP player etc?

I would take a piano if allowed. If it wasn't, it would be a pen and paper.

I'm quoting the programme rules. A piano wouldn't fit in there anyway. It's the final one tonight,Channel 5, 9.00 worth seeing who lasted out ? I like the thought pattern going on, they keep saying to the camera, " am I the only one still here, have the others gone home ? "

sometimes when I spend too much time on this board I would gladly pay good money to be locked in a small room for 5 days, cut off from technology!

I could do this no problem. I work (only see people on my breaks) and live on my own, so more then happy to go days without speaking to anyone. I'd take it a sketch pad, always fancied being able to draw properly.
