Given he's a director of ACL he's probably able to give the other side to these statements. He can probably state whether he or any of the other ACL people have ever met the mysterious Joy and took a trip to Leeds with her for example.

He'd give an opinion no doubt woven in spin. Unless his up a ladder cleaning the guttering of course.

Just hope the rumours about haskell are true. At least if he can get a foot in the door it's a start.

Time for stout hearts gentlemen and ladies.
Even in their own version of events our owners sound like incompetent, grasping, mendacious fools.
Stand firm. Be of good cheer. Once more unto the breaches.
Not a penny more.
If we die in the attempt, or the club does, better to die with your boots on than crawl on your belly to support such an embarrassing regime.

Think I've got the gist of this correct but I'm sure that if not someone will soon put me right....but after the "we shook hands/no we didn't meeting" (around December last year?) didn't PWKH want to publish his notes of the meeting but was stopped by the threat of legal action by either SISU or the Club. Surely now, after Mr Fisher's comments it would not be an issue for those notes to be published? Might make interesting reading in the light of the OPs post.

Alas, no.
Of course this version paints CCC ACL in a bad light; they would say that wouldn't they?
It paints SISU in an even worse light, totally unsuited to running a professional football club. No understanding, no negotiating skills, no transparency, no idea.

Think he has to go direct to the Queen of Debt and negotiate himself but not with Elliott or esp Hoffman and call her bluff

I have a very simple question for Tim Fisher/CCFC and ACL.

If CCFC have left the Ricoh and have no chance of going back why is the CCFC badges still on the side of the Ricoh?

Who has to take them down? ACL or CCFC as they are its property?

always difficult to guage a club's size but we are in the top 25. Definitely bigger clubs are
spurs Hammers Chelski arsenal villa Forest Wolves Derby Wednesday Leeds Newcastle Blunderland Everton Man U Man city Liverpool = 16 Blues norwich Southampton stoke Leicester west Brom over the past 10 years look like a bigger club but have had the
luxury of promotions or an extended stay in the premeirship. Ipswich / Sheff Utd are about the same size as us. 24 clubs mentioned = cov = 25.

Well of course you don't believe it. There is only one version of events; only one side and that's ACLs. Nothing else matters.

Jack Griffin said:
Basically Fisher is saying the council behaved in a totally underhand manner, this doesn't really sound likely.

I can't believe this version of events.. its like the "non-trading property subsidrary" story, not credible.

based on what? we've been out of the top flight for over a decade, we've finished mainly 17 or below in the championship. our attendances arent the greatest either.

what about middlesborough, Leeds, sunderland, sheffield wedneday, derby, forest, bolton, etc?

I think my personal favourite line is, "ACL is not even a real business."
This from the author of CCFC Ltd and CCFC (Holdings) Ltd accounts signed off, plus the much discussed confusion over the former being a non trading entity etc. which has taken a court appointed Administrator many weeks to fail to unravel.

They probably need a taxpayer funded institution to buy a mortgage for them that they cannot afford -- that will make them a proper company eh?

No but they might need one to bail out a stadium build for them.

Its about time all this came out and it fits with what I was told along time ago that the council had strung the club along telling them a deal could be done only for them to back out at the eleventh hour which is why I always tell you that CCC have no intention of selling its part of ACL to anyone...it does not make the decision to leave the Ricoh right though.

All of the above are included except bolton and M'boro, lets see how big their attendances are after an extended period in the lower half of the championship. Wolves are and always will be a bigger club than Fulham - IMO.

Nope and for the avoidance of any further doubt, I don't work for and have never worked for CCFC (or any subsidiary company based in the UK or the cayman islands or anywhere else), ACL, Coventry City Council, the Civil Service etc. At the present time I don't live in Coventry or even in the Midlands - I am not Joy S, Tim F, PWKH, a god, God, David Cameron etc.

Mr Fisher and his artistic licence, he will never change, its getting to a point where he beginning to believe himself, fortunately others know better, thank god he has Ms Seppala's honey put to dig into. Always good spending others money, or is it his £150k a year job + lots of expenses he is concerned about?

Do you think this might be some kind of new dawn? Joy might have been made much more acutely aware of the "Community" issues, that TF faces amongst the fan base... There are actually people who have a good idea about business practice & law, & they are getting closer & closer to things that have happened or are becoming ever-more dug-in to the SISU-out campaign? So the only way to appease is to start coming clean about more things - to show SISU are not the devil incarnate, but have been shafted themselves?
OR
Is this just more distraction & refocusing attention away from some of the financial skullduggery & mis-management that has been alleged?

Why would they do that rather than just say straight out no deal would or could be done?

Genuinely don't know on that one, maybe SISU just didn't realise that the fans are effectively the club (as without them you get far less income coming in). Fans also rightly or wrongly believe that they have a say in how the club should be run, which under most owners they don't (if you exclude the text a sub fiasco). So are they only now just waking up to the realisation that the fans are not happy with the way their club has been run and are threatening revolt? It's very possible, although they've had a while to spot it, wonder why it's taken them this long to do so?

Portsmouth have an fa cup, PNE have a rich historic past.

This website analysis performance by decade to calculate your size...according to this we're 37th....time to take those skyblue tinted glasses off

Effectively

SISU screwed ACL in such a way that they and the council were very reluctantly exploring the possibly of SISU taking over half of ACL. With SISU manipulating it to get it for dirt cheap.

In July Haskell took an interest in CCFC
The rest is history.

Tim needs the fans good will.

Well it's too late for that. They destroyed that good and proper they have improved nothing since they arrived.

Joys 'pumped in 45 million' is banked as debt plus the 30 million they were supposed to have cleared.

He admits that to build the 8k Lego ground will involve more borrowing.

My good will is telling me not to choose three years elsewhere followed by a legoland 8k stadium.

It tells me choose the Yank or the Chinese and new hope.

Spot on. It's us ( the fans ) that's the key to all this. If we don't go there's no income.they wont be able to survive for 3 years without any income from ticket sales . Coincidence that now is the time they start up the fans forums.they need us onside.so far nobody else has stood up to sisu.even the football league won't say anything against them . It's up to us to stick together if we want sisu gone.not one penny more might just work
