You're not the only one. The second goal went in and I felt no disappointment, no anger....just a feeling of resignation about it all.

I felt the same about the first goal to be fair. I just shrugged.

One thing for sure.....Fisher won't be getting paid if his wage depends on the team performing well!

Really cannot see how anything positive can come of this season. It will take a hell of a lot of luck for us to even reach the play offs, let alone win promotion at this rate!

I think you listed one positive in that first sentence!

I've never said this before...I've never considered it...but do you think I'd have been better off if my mum had taken me to West Ham games or my Dad had taken me to West Brom games because they're the teams my parents supported when they were little...

Sometimes I wish they had :/

We clearly don't. You don't get a Championship squad out of signing only free transfers! And yeah, I know we paid a fee for Barton, but we swapped shite for shite in that the Deegan fee paid for him.

We need a distraction! So what is Coventry in these days, then? The County of Coventry, or did it return to Warwickshire?

Either way, Bell isn't from Cov.

And now he's out

The five districts of North Warwickshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth, Rugby, Warwick and Stratford-on-Avon together form the Warwickshire County Council area, and are within the 1974 boundaries. The shape of the administrative area of Warwickshire differs considerably from that of the historic county, which also includes the now autonomous unitary authorities of Coventry and Solihull, as well as a small area around central and northeast Birmingham.

West Midlands is a region. Warwickshire is a county of which Coventry are part of.
This is alot better than talking about football anyway

yeah there is a big whole in Warwickshire where Coventry is...

if we are i Warwickshire how come we don't have Warwickshire police force or are run by Warwickshire county council?

i will also add this to my argument http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Midlands_(county)

The West Midlands County Council was abolished on 31 March 1986, and so its districts (the metropolitan boroughs) are now effectively unitary authorities

Heres a challange then:

I will accept Coventry is in the West Midlands if someone can post a link to the West Midlands County website.

Because we have our own City council, as do alot of cities!
Doesn't mean we are not in that county tho.

West Midlands is a region and a county. Warwickshire is in the west midlands region but is a county in its own right. Coventry is in both the West Midlands County and region - e.g. west Midlands Police, West Midlands Fire Service. Coventry isn't in Warwickshire.

Why do the Welcome to Warwickshire signs appear when you leave the city of Coventry?
