Players signed for free on a year or longer deal.
• Kyle Reid age 28 played over 300 career games 27 goals played mostly at league one. Signed a two year deal
• Marvin Sordell age 25 played over 200 games and over 50 goals in a career which has seen over 3.5m in transfers. Scored goals mainly at championship level with 10 of those 50 in the FA cup. Signed a one year deal with option of a second.
• Kwame Thomas age 20 played under 30 senior games largely in a loan spell at Blackpool last season. TM said signing was one for the future on a 2 year deal
• Gael Bigirimana age 22 just over 60 senior appearances featuring in the Europa league for Newcastle who paid 1m 4 years ago. Largely inexperienced still, Signed a 1 year deal.
***** Players signed for a fee *****
• Jordan Turnbull aged 21 just hit a 100 senior appearances with 3 senior goals. Signed by TM for a undisclosed fee on a 3 year deal.
• Jodi Jones age 18 just hit 50 senior appearances, signed for a undisclosed fee on a 4 year deal.
******* Loan players signed *******
• Chris McCann age 29 over 360 senior games played at championship level. 6 month loan from MLS side Atlanta United.
• Jamie Sterry age 20 a few senior appearances a player with a good reputation. Signed on 5 month loan from Newcastle.
• Lewis Page age 20 just a few senior appearances so far looks useful 5 month loan from West Ham
• Daniel Agyei age 19 just making his break on the game at senior level. Scored in his first game v Bradford. Looks promising. 6 month loan from Burnley.
Andre Wright age 19 another just starting out in senior football with a few games/goals under his belt in the conference. similar to Dan Agyei I believe pace and power, signed till early January on loan from west brom.
• Jack McBean age 21 for development on a 5 month loan from LA Galaxy.
12 signings so far this window 6 loans till January, 6 permanent 2 of which are for a fee and on long term deals.
Now we can only sign players out of contract and TM has stated he intends to look and hopeful on one but since come out to say it's hard getting men in to the club.... Is that a general statement in regards to the summer window as a whole or the latest hope has said no too. Time will tell.

Add to that Stokes, RCC, Harries, Stevenson, Willis, Lawton, Lameiras, Haynes, Jones and Gadzhev
That is a lot of potential at this level.

It's a lot healthier than it was 2 weeks ago, if we can get 1 experienced central defender under 30 I'll be reasonable happy till January.
I think Agyei will prove a big asset and start causing teams problems, Sordell I've had a change of heart on, there is still time he'll come good. He's rusty but found half chances that good strikers find. Just needs that confidence of a few goals. Hopefully anyway!! Andre Wright hopefully will give us a glimpse of magic off the bench at fleetwood Saturday so we can make half a judgement but he offers pace and power. This team needs that.

good post, to add to that lets look at strength in depth:

GK: RCC,Burge
LB/LWB:stokes,haynes,page
RB/RWB: DKE,Sterry,Willis,Rose
CB:Ricketts,Harries,Willis,Turball,Leahy,Stokes
CM:Bigi,Gadzhev,Rose,Stevenson,Mcann
AM/Winger/Support Striker:Lameries,Jones,Reid,G Thomas,Wright,Spence
ST:Tudgay,Sordell,Agyei,Mcbean

think thats everyone. have not put lawton in yet. strength in depth doesnt seem to be an issue. alla bout quality now. and i think mowbray can bring that out over the course of the season

Still would have liked an enforcer midfielder with a bit nous but let's see how it pans out, I am more hopeful today than I was a week ago. One thing I will say to the moaning plebs that frequent this website who expect free signings and young loanees to be on a par with Ronaldo or Messi, Give all these new guys a fucking chance !!

this division has such thin lines, if one of our strikers finds his feet consistently we could do a lot better than most think.

We've got a decent core of a team when all fully fit

I started arguing on Twitter with somebody yesterday, it just isn't worth it. Complained about the 34 club last season but complaining about the youngsters this.

I am too old to understand Twitter let alone use it. However, I think that is not a bad thing!

It is because these are the ones who shout loud, they speak absolute rubbish and people listen to it. It is about some sort of attention I think.

Juggy is the best, I had a debate with him. He blocked me, the the next day was like "So I had an interesting debate last night...." to try and get people riled up about it.

It is just people bouncing off each other's anger without having a minute to think about the stuff they are saying.

Again, another good list Steve (someone was obviously bored last night....!)

If I'm honest, I've kind of lost track of all our signings as I'm not glued to SBT like a few on here so it's a good summary to show whom we've brought in. I think if TM and the coaches can get a couple of our forwards scoring between 15-20 between them this season and then have a couple of midfielders chip in with at least 5 each, with others, we could be in for an ok season.

I've made my feelings known on TM before so I'm interested to see how this group of players performs going forward after the 'journeyman' approach last season didn't really work.

Matty Roper's blogs have about as much depth and insight as Mr. Nice.

Your quite right, work was cancelled so that left hours of freedom. I wasted it clearly ha ha.
Thought it be interesting to see what business other clubs were doing, and as pointed out Bristol Rovers did next to no business signing 2 on free's and 6 loans. Tho they did extend a few contracts. They have funds to spend.
Our business seems to be on par with the rest of the league even tho most won't see it this way.
