Next best thing other than it being at the stadium.

Hopefully they will extend the early bird then, give it an extra 2 weeks for the first 2 weeks of the new shop!

What the hell is going on. I'm not used to a well run club!

Should make it easier to transport something to right outside the ground on matchday.

There is going to be a permanent retail outlet inside the ground on match days.

I think I need to go for a lie down! In all seriousness has Joy got someone in to sort things out, can't imagine Fisher has suddenly become good at his job.

It's the perfect solution really. Having the club shop at the Ricoh itself was ok but felt a little isolated, but in an already busy location in sight of the Ricoh is even better, assuming the matchday location is better than the garden table they had.

What the hell is going on with all these positive steps?

The stand where our fans will be located this season I'd guess, would be funny if they put it in the stand they have closed down for next season.

Tesco stand then

hmm, I wonder if it will be like a stall inside or something?

The only option is to convert one of the food / bookies areas.

I've heard they are hanging all the stock from the Jimmy Hill statue and are going to sell it from there.

If you try to short change them, they throw in a Wasps hat.

The last few seasons the club has been secondary to court proceeding and legal battles, maybe they've decided to act like a proper football club for once.

"The club needs sorting from the ground up", "We need to put things in place so that the fundamentals are done right, you need to get the basics right first". The words of Tony Mowbray when he signed, and also what all us fans have been saying the last few years

More positive news. Small steps. In some respects the Arena Park is a much better place to have the shop. Lots of fans go through on matchday but the biggest benefit is non matchdays. The stadium is a pain to get to unless attending a match whereas AP isn't.

There's got to be something to moan about in regards to this. Anyone?

Link to the story on the clubs site http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/gallagher-superstore-moving-arena-shopping-park-2483777.aspx

A good move and only to be congratulated. Be interesting to know whereabouts the permenant retail outlet will be at the ground, I'm assuming we're taking over one of the kiosk's that always seem to be shut under the stands.

I always knew all someone had to do was ask Wasps about availability and something could be done about it, hey Sickboy

Indeed Tony. I'm just waiting for the rental deal to continue at 100k or less after next season.

Just a thought. Will the club be able to sell matchday parking spaces outside the front of the shop?

I'm sure we all sincerely hope that is the case.

What's gone is gone and what's done is done. Let's try and get some unity for once and have us all singing from the same hymn sheet, manager, team, fans and owners.

I was hoping that the empty spot in Arena Park would be one of those cash4gold places so I could sell all this moody jewellery I've acquired #sisuout

I'm not used to so much positive news in such a short space of time. I'm sure it's TM's influence. :guitar2:

And pleasingly they've also found a more appropriate vocation for Frank Nouble alongside Tim. Great work.

Is it in the old Johnsons shop? This move makes sense the Gallagher shop was a bit big so the lack of stock made it look really empty

Great news, probably the best location for it as well. Whoever is responsible for the recent changes: well done.
