Oh, so do we just ignore everything apart from the OP in threads now and things you have said in other posts within that thread aren't relevant?

You said the other things within the same thread, hence people mention them since. You can't just keep saying that you didnt say that in your OP as some sort of reason.

My point was also that you don't know what others do, people only saw about Sordell as the hospital tweeted him to say thanks. Some people like to go about their shit without putting it on Social Media.

No, but if you are going to make things up, that aren't there, then I will refer you to posts that reiterate what I'm saying.

Any comment on post #156 that SkyBlueBear posted?

I asked the question, in the OP, "Or are the rest going to other hospitals?"

The visit would be more valuable than the gifts, IMO. Going to argue that as well?

I would be surprised if hospital policy allowed a whole squad to go

Just a cursory search on Google brings up loads of football team hospital visits, some take the whole first team, some not. It's not really anything that needs to be attacked as being "not good enough". West Ham took 8 on a visit, I wonder what the others were up to?

What have I made up?

You have posted about the shopping and only some being arsed.

I disagree with that as well, he also hasn't said that others were out shopping or made out they couldn't be arsed has he?

You're desperate to highlight that because he agreed with you, not everyone else did. In your second post in the thread you inferred the rest of the squad couldn't be arsed. There is more than just your original post.

That's the thing, it isn't just about the original post like he keeps trying to make out.

Why not set the bar as a club, rather than comparing us to others?

We are well known for being shit at football, so why not be good at doing things like this? An annual CCFC visit, with all/most of the squad to children in hospital across the city who can't make the JSB parties?

You see negative posts, I see suggestions for improvement.

Well, what was it last year or the year before? I don't know before you ask. I know I'm repeating myself but the number of players (and other squad, management, etc) isn't as important as the visit. Not sure why it needed a thread a week after the event, particularly when you were making up reasons for the non appearance of the rest of the squad.

Well only you, Nick and ccfcway have really responded. Naturally, I will try and point you to other posts to help you understand my point better?

If you didn't take small parts of posts, and use them to attack, and actually took a minute to read and understand, we wouldn't have a 20 odd page arguing thread.

Again, you don't actually read.

CCFC posted pictures on Facebook this afternoon. I've been abroad for over a week, so didn't see the original thread.

I posted and commented on the number of those that attended. What's the problem?

Normally charity events such as this are agreed in advance with the institution.

Therefore the club or institution would make initial contact and then numbers to attend agreed. It would always be agreed im advance. So it's very conceivable the hospital asked for 3 or 4 representatives from the club to attend.

The op suggests it's an open invite and only 3 were bothered. This actually is very unlikely. Most footballers within their contract are committed to attend events and are, from my experience, always ready and willing.

To even imply only 3 in this instance are prepared to is an unnecessary and unfounded slur.

Plenty of mentions of the kids being visited mentioned.

Funny, you didn't jump all over this post on the original thread....

The OP actually asked the question: "Or were the rest going to other hospitals?"

To which, the answer (excluding Sordell) appears to be no.

Yet, you jump over my point, which is the same point as Shaw's?

That only 3 players turned up?

Good to see. (The players visiting that is)

How could you possibly relate that to Ricketts?

To be fair though, you related a CCFC visit to a local, Coventry hospital to Man U and Zlatan, so who knows with you.

He was confirming the players visiting was good to see, and it not being about Ricketts being good to see.

Just noticed your edit, it was mentioned in that thread about Ricketts because he was there. Still, it's everybody else who can't read.

Because the post he was replying about mentioned Ricketts possibly still being here as a coach?

Dulieu is a moron and never sees the team so I suppose that would be the equivalent of Sky Blue Talk sending Bob and Captain Dart.

You obviously (very obviously) haven't been to a kids football event such as SBITC where hardly anyone wears a CCFC top. My lad does football practice and out of 30 kids he's the only CCFC fan - and some come over from Cov - everything from Man U, Man C, Liverpool to Barcelona and B Munich.
