Flamebaiting, Jesus Christ.

Oh no, somebody doesn't think the players donating an estimated £200 each for a local hospital is a bad thing, they must be "flame baiting".

I'm not the one who brought it up to have digs the week after it happened, am I?

In which case you will be more than happy to know most of our players earn less than £2k a week, meaning they are likely to be reaching the benchmark, well done them !
doubtful. but even if true. 1k a week is 52k a year

1 off donation of 200 pound for xmass is shite for 52k a year

Bit annoyed, just making the chicken casserole for tea and only Sterry, Wright and Agyei turned up to help out. All bloody loans. Told them to piss off.

Yes, you said only 3 of the squad could be arsed. Which means the others couldn't? That is what i was replying to.

I replied about other players because their heroes may have not been Burge or Willis, they may not have even been city fans.

To bring up Man U and Zlatan in a discussing a small portion of Cov players visiting a COVENTRY hospital, makes your point a little weak. Obviously, there will be non CCFC fans there or even non football fans.

im gonna drive home soon.

ill say this, never had a dig,but after a few rude replies aimed at me i may have trolled some posters....just a teeny bit

its a skill i have but not one i should use, ill leave you with my real final thoughts

its great that players visited and gave presents. i just think they are in a position to do even more and i would love to see it. but thats life all over.world would be better place if everyone improved themselves.

god bless you all.

No, because you said players being disappointed their favourite players weren't there. They may not have even supported CCFC.

I doubt the kids in there gave much of a shit, or how much the presents cost.

The same as the kids on Thursday won't be moaning "its only a selection box".

How do you know what they also personally donate to or do for charity?

Try again, Nick.

Try actually reading the posts and seeing who posts them before going on the attack.

One of our players has his own charity. I think it's safe to say it's a personal thing if they donate or not or what they donate.

Pretty sure I read you acting a dick about "flamebaiting" that somebody else said?

I can see who has posted what perfectly fine, I can see you having the "only the CT does this" attempts, hence I replied to you.

Yeah? Then you replied directly to me?

Nick : "Oh no, somebody doesn't think the players donating an estimated £200 each for a local hospital is a bad thing, they must be "flame baiting".

Please post where I said the gifts were inadequate?

Yes, I was replying to you about you jumping on his flamebaiting comment with your attempted dig at me.

Hence I used what he was saying about the gift as a prime example of exactly that, and you making a thread the week after it happened as bringing it up (you know, like the telegraph do )

To sum it up, you made out players couldnt be arsed and were shopping. He made out that £200 each wasnt enough.

Oh really? So the players that didn't turn up (which this whole post is about, not those who did) is positive?

I've praised those that did turn up. I haven't said the players should have given more financially.

Please explain where I've targeted anything positive?

i have said i dont know what they do behind the scenes. just like you have no idea either.

all i am saying is i think footballers can do better than chipping in for dvd players at xmass. even if they donate every single week they are probably capable of doing more for a xmass hospital visit.

Did you know Sordell had been doing it before I said?

A hospital visit with presents is positive, there is nothing whatsoever negative about it at all. Nothing.

You don't know what the others were doing, so you just made something up. You admit that at least?

No, and as you clearly have read all the posts carefully in this thread and taken the content included on board, you will see I've included Sordell in the praise.

Exactly.

So much more to moan about with CCFC and the players I'd say than them chipping in money to buy the kids presents and some of the players going down to take them.

100% agree, no arguments.

One thing we all know, is most of the players weren't there, for whatever reason, but they weren't there.
