Anyone tried the new football manager 2012 demo as cov. To be fair, the stats for the youngsters seem fair.

If only we could attract loans like we can in the game!

Bigi is pretty good, more than good enough to start in midfield while Deegs is out. Juke is tidy and been playing McSheffrey alongside him and doing well when away from home. At home all out attack, Man City formation with a Barca style of play.

As for players, got 950k for Cranie and 775k for Wood. Got Marcel Seip on a free as well as J Lloyd Samuel and Michael Stewart. Andros Townsend on loan from Spurs but he doesn't figure much as Baker is surprisingly sweet but not as good as Bell

Enjoying the game but feel like I have no freedom managing the City, I think I know how Thorn feels now.

Unbeaten in 8, top of the Table. Sold cranie and wood. Bought carter, Beattie, R Hughes and got arsenal as A parent club-so got chamberlain, frimpong and a young japenese left winger. Plus got Shane Duffy on loan. Play a 4-5-1 with a holding midfielder. McDonald is crap on it and is on big wages. But tried to get more wages from the board= waste of time. Quite realistic this year

Andyboy81, Check the game requirements on-line mate. This years graphics look like quite a high resolution so possibly not.
covkingchris, at first I was worried about the same thing, but what happens is, all the files are stored on ur account, on a internet based hub. Then, even if u delete the game from ur computer, the game plus all ur saved files are stored in the hub, so the nxt time u install it from ur account u can start from where u left off! I've bought games like total war empires like this, got stuck, deleted it, then re-installed it months later from my account and carried on from the same point. Downloading can be tricky but once uve got it, its a great way to store and buy games. Ez

Go to a site called canyourunit.com (on your notebook) and that will tell you if it will work on your machine.

Downloaded it last night, 5 games in and im 6th in the table and still in the league cup. It will never last! Signed Stephen Jordan at left back and just got Chelsea as a parent club so I'm hoping for some loans. Bigi is good, David Bell is playing surprising well for me aswell! Turned down bids for Jutkiewicz, Cranie and Wood.. was half expecting the board to accept the bids themselves.
Out of the new features, I like that you get more feedback off your players in a meeting or a team-talk.
Im trying to only play a few games a day so I haven't completed the demo before the game comes out as you can carry on your demo game into the full version.

Easy solution, go to "add manager", join Man City, bid £55mill for fat fred, and £30mill for James McPake, should keep you going for quite a while =))) :claping hands:

Im playing it and wanted to make it feel real......so I sold Juke. Got £2m upfront increasing to £3m with add ons from Wolves though.

Great summary of the youngsters.

Really struggling to attract anyone. JL Samuell as left back, and a Chelsea loanee, but struggling other wise.

What formation are most people playing?
