Hey Folks,

If your a season ticket holder is there any benefit atall in having a Membership ? They're £20 and the main bonuses seem to be that you get priority on Away and Cup games which I presume you do anyway as a season ticket holder and cheaper 6/12 match packages, which of course you don't need as a season ticket holder. I got my Daughter a membership as it made her Season Ticket cheaper, but is they're any benefit atall in me getting one ? If I was to have a season ticket and a membership would I be able to get 2 priority tickets if we got someone big in the cup ?

edit - Also with the 6/12 match packages, do you just take the ticket to the turnstile and can get straight in or do you have to exchange for a match ticket ?

I doubt it is of any benefit to season ticket holders, but seeing as I am not getting one I may have a look to see if it is worth it for me (especially if I get match packages).

You can get straight in at the turnstile. It you want specific seats, you have to phone up in the week....that's how I understand it!

Can anyone confirm you can exchange the tickets for match tickets at the turnstile ? That would be a big help for me, I'd get a 6 match package and give them to my mates whenever one wanted to come in exchange for them driving me down there !

Yes you can get in with them, I didn't know you could and was going to the shop every week but I think they accept them on the cash turnstyles.

Here's the email I got from the shop....

'Hello

The match packages work in the following way –

You can use them on the cash turnstiles but will just be given a ticket on entry.
You can book over the phone and choose a specific seat and collect on match day at the collections window handing in your voucher in return for your ticket.'

Thanks for your help folks, one more hypothetical question......

We get Chelsea away in the Cup, tickets go on sale first to season ticket holders, me and my Daughter are both season ticket holders, but she's too young to take to a game like that, when I rang up to get my ticket, If I explained that I had a mate with a membership but my Daughter wouldn't be going so that's one less season ticket holder going, you think they'd sell me both at the same time ?

Obviously purely hypothetical

Doubt it but you could probably buy 2 adult tickets even if you have 1 adult and 1 junior season ticket.
