Nick, Grendel and Torch have apologised for Sisu's actions for years and attacked anyone holding Sisu to account for years;not just on here but on twitter, on the CT- and the volume and intensity of their defense has been unreal. They have attacked the Council, ACL, Telegraph, all supporters groups, apart from the Rob S anti-council group and pretty much all actions against Sisu. It isnt about 'love for the club' because most they attack 'love the club' infact want to take action to save it, the trigger is Sisu. Why? some possibilities:

1. They think Sisu is actually good for the club
2. They became so entrenched in 'anti-Council' arguments that they became Sisu supporters, and take that tribal side in any Sisu related issue
3. There is a Sisu financial incentive or benefit in kind.

Tony, mate I wouldnt bother. Just leave them to it.

And you have popped up with rubbish like that every so often strangely.

Funnily enough, I'll support ccfc no matter who owns us going forward. Doesn't matter who it is.

Feel free to point out some cracking defence quotes of sisu, it should be good. You can back your suggestions up too if you want?

It's interesting the accounts making a comeback all of a sudden too, I'd guess something is in the pipeline. It's going to be like an old boys reunion.

Just a shame you aren't one of those who "love the club" you seem to reference. You have an issue with pictures on the telegraph site, another shining example of love for ccfc

You do know you can hate SISU as well as the Council, ACl, the Telegraph, Les Reid et al. Its not exclusive that you have to support one side if you despise the other, you can despise them all. Is that really beyond your comprehension.

GPE you are spot on mate, those you have mentioned and one or two others have defended sisu for years, a lot of it veiled and backed by "I support ccfc" whatever.
This ground issue is serious and is starting to bubble and I believe our future as a football league club is at stake. The bottom line is this continual fruitless legalities involving sisu and our landlord, there will be no long term ground deal with that going on and any short term deal might not be acceptable to the EFL membership.

Jesus, some of the posts on here, maybe Grendal does hate the council but thats the only bit of truth in a frankly ridiculous three point summary from GPE. None of those 3 think SISU are good for the club and exactly how the fuck are they financially benefiting?

I know that not everybody that goes to wasps are CCFC fans. But I know a large percentage of them are local to Coventry. Unless moving to the Ricoh found them an extra 6k of Londoners wanting to follow them?
I know people who haven't been to a Cov Rugby match in their lives but attend wasps regularly, I know CCFC fans boycotting sisu and attend wasps as a sort of protest (there are plenty on here just look), I know people who have never been to a live sporting fixture in the lives but attend wasps.
All these people are giving wasps a platform. All these people are locals who, CCFC fans or not, should have more loyalty to the 2 130year + teams this City ALREADY has over a team that's been here a couple of years and will no questions ask, fuck off at the drop of a hat at a better opportunity. Whilst they have the support of the people of the City they can't see their wrongdoing in not renewing a deal for the club the stadium was built for.

Yes and being a Coventry Rugby fan I can tell you the club hasn't always made the most of its relationship with local clubs. That is why you will find a number of Coventry kids who pulled on an England shirt but not a Coventry shirt unfortunately. However the current set up is more promising. That is why the likes of Leicester Tigers and Northampton managed to draw support from Coventry area before Wasps arrived. Coventry do have some vociferous hard-core support but locally the club hast always been everyone's cup of tea. The club seem to be working hard these days to build its fan base. The relaunch of the Supporters Club last year has been a great success and the club officials and players are engaging well with supporters.

Apart from I don't give it the "play the ball not the man" line. The same as how you give the insults out and when you get a little bit back don't like it.

I'll take insults all day if I give them out.

Read the thread, tackles flying in at my waist then whinging when I clip ankles back.

I don't know why you bother with posts like that, you just cry victim when you get a reply.

The club were looking into alternative grounds around December 2016. I was told then Joy and Derry will not back down on the legal route regardless of the effect it will have on the football club, that seems to be the case up to now.

One of the grounds even Nick might raise an eyebrow at. Hopefully it was just someone trying to justify there salary and it looked better having a list of places when they made their report.

So you can say he's not interested in buying the club? Just do a bit of research and tell me his actions over the last couple of years especially recently and the people he's involved with don't point to what I was suggesting.

Isn't the Fisher rumour quite an old one, or has he started it up again trying to get some cash?

I'd best get in touch for a place on the board now. Bare knuckling Mr Strange on the platform for that spinning office chair.
