Agree, before mr got the job it leaked out that inces wage demands were too high

Ccfc asked ACL to create that contract. The club has only itself to blame for the mess its in.
Ive no problem with the club negotiating, but to just refuse to pay is going down a dangerous path. Ccfc will get a reputation for not honouring contracts, what players will want to come here if they think the owners will just refuse to pay them if they feel they shouldn't?
The clubs credit rating will also go through the floor, making it difficult to deal with suppliers and to borrow money.
Tim Fisher needs to realise that the law isn't on his side, and go back to acl on his knees begging for a reduction.
You have a biased opinion here towards acl not sure we will get to know the reason why.
1.2M x 25 years = 37.5M
We could almost buy the stadium twice over without even taking food, drink and parking into consideration.
ACL are robbing us blind.

Acl are a stable, well run business that doesn't lie.
Despite having a legal contract entitling them to £1.2m of rent from ccfc they offered to reduce it to £400k plus matchday income.
Acl have given this city an internationally known venue & brought us the olympics.
Acl have done everything in its power to accommodate the club but Fisher refuses to budge like a stubborn 2 year old.
Why should I dislike acl?
You clearly do not have CCFC first and foremost on your mind sir. In an ideal world ACL will default on their mortgage payments, the Ricoh will be up for sale and as former tennants CCFC will buy the stadium which should be rightfully ours. ACL would not exist without CCFC, we can exist with you.

If acl defaults there is nothing to stop the bank taking direct charge of the stadium, and if you think acl have been unreasonable then you would be in for a surprise when Yorkshire bank issue a demand for back rent.
Acl might survive without a football club, ccfc wouldn't survive without a ground.

How should the stadium be rightfully ours? We lost that privilege when Richardson and his cronies sold HR in the late nineties. On our arse financially ever since and very little bargaining power. The rent deal was agreed because we probably had little choice and our illustrious leaders thought Operation Premiership would solve all our problems in no time.
The ricoh would not survive for very long without a football team so in that essence acl would not survive either. CCFC would survive and build again because the people who love it have a real passion for it. the only passion acl has is pound notes my friend.

The only people yorkshire bank could sell the ground to is CCFC.
If ccfc get locked out of the ground then they are unable to fulfill their fixtures, at which point we run the risk of being expelled from the league & the club would cease to exist.
The stadium of CCFC or any football club should belong to the club itself and the fans not outside companies that take from the club like locusts for financial gain. You and everything about the idea of this club being raped makes me sick. We have paid enough now and that is why i agree with the route sisu are taking. If they dont make this stand now it will go on and on forever.

Yorkshire bank could sell to whoever they wanted.

And you would take "great delight" in that, no doubt?

I find it sick that a wealthy london hedge fund is effectively stealing from a childrens charity & our local democracy.

Yorkshire bank would know the only people that could foreseeably run the football stadium is the club itself and it would be the only safe option. Lets not forget its a football stadium first and the last time i looked were the only one in coventry.

CCFC could ground share quite easily and fulfill its fixtures hence them already looking to do this. An so be it in my opinion. Next.

Your probably right with the first bit, im just saying there's no guarantee.
As for ground sharing, where?
As i said before your not first and foremost a CCFC fan and this is a CCFC forum. Make your standpoint clear here?

Blues, Villa, Walsall, Northampton, Wolves, Baggies, Mk Dons lol, Leicester, Port Vale etc if it come to it i have no doubt many of these teams would take the financial gain from doing it.

And what happens when both teams have a 3pm Saturday home game?
What would be the long term plan?
So how much did CCFC pay to build the Ricoh?
£0.
So how much did CCFC pay to lease the Ricoh from the freeholder?
£0.
You say they should now pay £0 to own it. You are either Fisher with too much red wine and should shut up, or you are just plain stupid. Or both.

Fixtures being re-aranged is nothing new and can be sorted if we can put men on the moon we can sort football fixtures.
It wouldn't be a long term plan, it would be an interim measue until the future of the Ricoh is sorted. If we cannot have the ricoh then we would need to look for land to build a new stadium no matter how long it would take. Look where Brighton are now it is more than possible.
think whats happening now though is that whether its late or not, acl ARE trying to help ccfc and that last offer proves it, sisu on the other hand seem to be looking after number 1
I hate these stupid hedge fund c@nts just a bit more every day. I just don't believe that they haven't got funds to agree this deal. ACL have offered them 10 years to pay the debt FFS, get on with it before our better players decide to leave if they can in January. I really believe we could be on the brink of a good and profitable second half of the season but Fisher and his cretins could actually trash it.
It shows they're trying to get an even better deal, looking after CCFC, 400k is still too much. You're wrong.
