Or you recognise the pattern of 3 years in a row where we start shockingly and try to change that for next season?Whilst this is more aimed at some fans rather than the owner (although it may still be applicable), also see similair logic: 'We're too far behind and too far into the season to expect a playoff push now'.

My stance now is it will happen when it happens. Should have happened before of course, but we are past that now and the new bloke won't have any time to work with the players before Sheff Utd and Burnley.
We all pretty much seem to think it will be Lampard don't we and it's not like there is another club waiting in the wings for him.
If there had been competition with other clubs over a manager, I would be a bit more concerned, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
