Holbrooks based company Midrepro will have it's Logo on the back of the home and away shirts for the rest of this season and next season.

back of the shirt sponsor? is that normal? I've had a city shirt every year other than this one for 25 years and never noticed a sponsor on the back, is this my horrible powers of observation or is this not normal?

The odd few clubs do it at the back on the bottom or tops of the shirt and also have a sponsor on the front, its just extra revenue thats all.

What commercial advantage does a company envisage they will get by sponsoring a toxic brand where 90% of its customers are refusing to have anything to do with them. I can only see their brand being damaged by association, especially being a local company. And it would serve them right.

Thought we would have had Malaysian Airlines myself.

Supposed to be one place, end up somewhere totally different miles away.

It does seem odd for a local company. When Garlicks company began sponsoring the YouTube highlights earlier this year they got all sorts of abuse. Can't be a good image to project if any potential customers google you first! The whole point of advertising is to increase business, how is a local company sponsoring a team that doesn't play locally going to give them positive exposure?

I would assume the Club is bringing in local companies for a reason, mainly because it shows that they're trying to keep a connection with local businesses and therefore people in the City.

Would be the best way to explain it, all season they have a local charity on the shirts, they had a local charity sponsor the Arsenal game as well and now this, would make sense.

Do not mistake this for a personal attack, but would you mind reconsidering this comment?
200+ individuals are missing, and possibly dead, for reasons unknown at this time. They have families and loved ones, and I happen to dislike when people make light of tragedies. Thank you in advance for your compassion.

humor is just the way most people deal with shitty situations. Certainly the way it is in my house, I'm very badly disabled and dealing with it with a smile and a piss take has always been the best way. We were making jokes with my mum about cancer the same day she was diagnosed with breast cancer (fortunately fine now)

I took the joke to be on our football club. If I were you I'd Google 'sense of humour'

It shows they are trying hard by playing their matches in another city. I think they are just happy for a few quid.

I believe their company emblem is a knife with Sisu's name on the handle.

Aren't Pure Properties on the shirt somewhere too?

Any reason it's so late into the reason?
