Top 6 Deck

So do we have a top 6 deck? Fotmob data suggests not, but we're not far off. Plenty for FL to do in the summer

Thoughts?

With everyone fit clearly we do

Our first third of the season and our depth with the number of injuries/suspensions that has meant we've had to take it to the last game

Depth is the issue (although it's been better this season than previous). We just about have a top 6 squad, but as has been evidenced you need a top 3/4 squad to have a chance of going up, plus luck with injuries. Next season is key to me with regards to having a real go (assuming we miss out this season). Likely to lose a couple of key assets, but of we recruit well and use that money plus the Vik money well, we should have a decent base to work from (as I think ST sales will hold up). Looking forward to next season, regardless of which league we're in.

I think we've actually overachieved under Lampard, but the overall quality in the championship has been exceptionally poor this season.
Apart from the top 3, no other club has been consistent, or played good enough football for most of the season.
That can be proved by the clubs that still have a chance of the playoffs, Bristol City, Millwall and Blackburn rovers are all teams thar should be nowhere near promotion, and by definition I'd have to include us as well.
In all honesty Sheffield Utd should piss the playoffs.
