Binks was pretty reckless himself, positionally atrocious often getting dragged out of position. Decision making suspect. This is a great move for him but we won't miss him imo.

So too, I think, do the fact that he was moved on very quickly. He has talent, and there's definitely a reason why clubs sign him, but he also flatters to deceive. We just never look secure with him at the back. I think the extremely low number of clean sheets we've kept when he's in the side, whilst obviously not just down to him, is telling.
I agree that Kitching isn't good enough either, and we have to get a better centre-back in as a priority. Presumably we will.
Binks being a good passer is a myth, the amount of times his long diagonals went straight out of play, his 5-10 yard short passes would be leathered at the receiving player and put them into trouble - I guess the data calls that a "successful pass"
