CCC, SISU, Wasps (1 Viewer)

Problem is; the protagonists are more obsessed with themselves, and how they look, rather than the club, its history....or the fans that live and breathe Coventry City FC

And there are a band of vocal idiots (hi David) on social media who don't seem particularly bothered by the history; getting SISU out is all that matters. The club, history and rest of the fan base are just collateral damage.

Anyone involved in the ground situation, should be made to watch this. Just a stark reminder as to the depth and wealth of our history as a football club and community

SISU/Wasps don't have an emotional attachment. CCC should probably have a deeper concern that we see. I would like owners who have a long term association with the club, people who went up to Highfield road in their youth.

However the first hurdle is to sort out what happens next season.

"Should probably"? CCC should definitely have an emotional attachment to the city's football club. Across the country there have been numerous councils who have bent over backwards to accommodate and help their football teams flourish; Luton being the latest.

Unfortunately not only are we (as fans) saddled with SISU, a cuckoo-in-the-nest franchise, but also a council leader who frankly doesn't care.

I enjoyed that, brings a tear to the eye, where did it all go wrong as they say........galls me to see other clubs similar to us still enjoying that level of entertainment and passion at the highest level.

It is the Council that are the worrying aspect in this...and they are dragging Wasps along with them. It is obvious that the Council hate SISU that much that they are willing to see the club, CCFC suffer to spite them. That is the most worrying thing. (have heard it in the past verbally and it is obviously true that they WILL NOT deal with the club while SISU are here)
Every single fan should be in it for CCFC and the ability for them to stay in the city, at the Ricoh next season. In line with this, it REALLY concerns me that the Sky Blue Trust are STILL not talking about any kind of action at the Council House or at (outside) a Wasps game. WHY NOT? - CJ, can you answer this?
They are going ahead with their organised trip to London - SISU/EFL but cannot/WILL NOT (?) look at anything on our own doorstep. (therefore covering all parties - and what I would say are the most worrying parties at present)
It really is easy for people to say "well why don't you organise it" but the Trust, up to recently have been a trusted mouth piece for the fans and have a public platform..... Worryingly now, local and national media go to them for comment, and as it stands, their comments are not balanced. They can easily put out info regarding protests/action that will get seen/shared etc.

We need a campaign to oust the Council Leader from Office to let him know what we think! Cannot Imagine the Telegraph Picking up on this though somehow:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

He would only be replaced like for like, he replaced Ann Lucas she replaced John Mutton and the Tory leader Gary Ridley publically agrees with the CCC stance.

Yes this is the sad aspect, people would rather the club disappear completely than keep SISU in charge which just flies in the face of any form of common sense. Also the amount of ex ST holder (they all say supported for 40 years) who would come flocking back if this happened too, where the hell will they flock too I wonder!!?

And every single councillor. Labour, Tory and Independent alike. Why the focus on Duggins and not his co-author or the rest of the council? If it was just Duggins he wouldn’t get anything done, councils aren’t a dictatorship.

Wouldn’t want to come across as someone with a political axe to grind would we?

It’s easy to stay angry when you think it’s one bad guy not a decision taken unanimously.

How many of those trusts have had the club owners intentionally spreading division and rumour? Out of curiosity.
