Would his uncle Dave Kelly be the same fella known as 'Happy' Kelly?

Great man Happy. He use to run the coaches from pool meadow and also ref on a Sunday . And call the bingo down the railway club

My Dad and me still have our joints one there. Makes me smile everytime I walk past it.

Reffed more than 1 game I was involved in as a youngster.

My step dad and I do too. My lad as well, his name and DOB from 2006.

Haven't looked at them in years and can't even remember what wall either of them are in now.

One thing that really irks me is how it's just a random mix of gold and black bricks.

They should have been either grouped together or at least set out in some sort of pattern. They just look messy.

And also the gold bricks were more expensive but you can't read them compared to the black ones.

I still remember the chant in the West End - "Happy is our Leader".

Huge regret I never bought one. I think it was simply down to lack of finances at the time. Can anyone remember how much? I think they were £250 each but that could have been the padded seats debacle instead.

I went on many an away day on coaches organized by Happy.

I think it was £40-£45.

About 30 something pounds. So glad I got one .

He was Cov thro & thro.
Saw him on the coach, in the West End & then he'd ref you Sunday.
Heart of Cov Gold.
