All your (owl) eggs in one basket hey, brave man. The whole ‘green’ dollar thing is a bit of a minefield at the minute. Pick the right one(s) and you might do ok. Look out the companies using nano-technology.

It’s no fad, in 10 years time you will be able to buy full plant products (legally) in the uk IMO. The global cannabis industry is lobbying pretty hard here now and the UK market is seen as desirable (we’re a bunch of stressed, sick pot heads!). Also the money going into R&D for medical uses is increasing and more research is being done now that laws are becoming more relaxed.

The first step came last year when medical marijuana was (sort of) legalised. Once or if the evidence base is established for different conditions, the NHS might even prescribe it. It’s just a matter of time.

I disagree, the UK is way behind other western countries with the progress made. There are still issues with children with extreme epilepsy having cannabis oil confiscated, despite the obvious benefit it provides to the child.

Can we start a fund and distribute in industrial size quantities to those who have a serious mental break-down on here whenever we go 1-0 down on match days?

Time will tell I guess. 10 years ago even the current situation seemed like it would never happen. The problem at the moment is lack of evidence which is largely because not much research has been done because it’s been illegal everywhere and hard to get permission to study it. Now that more researchers are looking into it the evidence will follow eventually. For some things. Maybe.

The NHS is an evidence-based organisation and without the evidence doctors won’t prescribe it.

Watched a prog from BBC4 today about how much methamphetamine the Nazis were on during ww2. Goering was on heroin and Hitler took just about anything his personal physician could inject into him. As for the rank and file troops of the Wehrmacht, they were under orders to take speed during various campaigns...
