Simple as that.

The wrangle with the academy is this.

Higgs can only deal with the academy as long as they know it is in the same entity that holds the football league golden share.

Sisu still to this day claim it is in holdings even though league understands its in ltd.

Contract for Higgs centre was in ltd and not holdings. Holdings may have paid it but the contract wasn't there.

The players regs needs to be with the entity that holds the golden share as well just like the pro contracts.

It will be interesting to know how the FA view this.

how is this golden share still an issue, why couldn't the administrator answer this by day 2 at the latest, it gives me no confidence in his ability or impartiality

I guess this new issue proves the whereabouts of the share is still unknown. We now have two separate issues to deal with, and the club are saying one of the issues is in Holdings and the other in CCFC Ltd. both though must be in the same oner per football league rules.

Still to this day there is no clear answer on where the golden share is.

Crazy.

League put CCFC into admin because regardless of which entity the share is in, it views any company part of the club the same, hence -10 deduction.

Problem is Haskell bid don't know if ltd have the share or not. If it does it makes an approach for takeover easier but if it's in holdings the it's complicated as Sisu are in charge of that company.

Right royal mess and a royal mess structured on purpose by Sisu.

Thing is doesn't Haskell need to acquire Holdings and SBS+L, otherwise he's still just owning a subsidiary?

I am sure the whereabouts of the Golden Share is known and is why Elliott and Hoffman have made their move publically. But at the moment there is an appeal from sisu about the points deduction and the administration issue is still at court, nothing will happen until they are out of the way.

A subsidiary can be bought by an outside party and would become an independant compamy in it's own right or a subsidiary of a different group of companies. If CCFC Limited has the Golden Share etc, then this is in essence the club and that would be all Haskell would need to acquire. SISU then are left with two (or more) husks of companies with no real worth and no rights over the club whatsoever.

I suspect the complications may arise with Golden Share in one company and player registrations and contracts in another, despite the fact that this is prohibited as per Football League regulations. Could the fottball league force the issue and state contracts are intrinsically tied to golden share, in which case if its with Limited then Haskell is laughing (and we the fans are having a monster 'SISU out' party!).
