It has not gone unnoticed surely that Carsley has inspired the reserves this season and has got some impressive results?
Even players who are so called 'unfit' for purpose score on his teams!

I wonder if Carsley has that bit of magic most managers need? Certainly as it's a results process he has achieved that easily.
Should he be brought in the help Thorn or even considered to replace Thorn on first team affairs?
His side plays completely differently from the first team (no diamond here) which is bizarre itself that your reserves are playing differently!

Carsley is getting results.

If we can't/won't/don't want to get a new manager in then should SISU not seriously look at what Carsley might be able to do?
Nick Barmby is a case in point - never thought he would do well but he has. I'm beginning to think Carsley is worth at least a try.

One other thing Carsley does not have as a hindrance is Harrison.
I think the first team set up has the wrong end of the rope...

How can you judge Carsley as a coach when we don't even have a proper reserve team? We have few friendlies specifically arranged to get injured players back into shape. We beat Chesterfield reserves yesterday (Chesterfield are bottom of L1 BTW) and we had several first team players i.e Eastwood, O'Donovan, Clingan etc.

Not knocking him but prefer people with experience as AT has very little coaching experiance himself!

I do agree but ur argument that it worked with Nick Barmby cannot resemble any substance as that argument was raised in appointing thorn, the fact that 'it's worked with' readings manager, he was thier chief scout before taking the reigns.

It could work, I think we have to do something. Dont agree with the Barmby comment, I thought they were poor here, and I think they are in a false position, they will get found out.

Something has to change, anything. If this would be the only change we could afford then so be it.
