City Skipper in line for Walsall job?
According to the Wolverhampton based Express & Star, Coventry City captain Lee Carsley is a surprise candidate for the vacant manager's job at Walsall FC.
The Saddlers removed Chris Hutchins earlier this week as manager and the paper claims that Carsley is giving serious thought to applying for the post, although he has yet to declare an interest.
Walsall have not yet set out their criteria for a new manager but the paper claims that Carsley could have a player-manager role.
