seeing as we know it is one of the following teams..who do you want in the first round..
North (unseeded):
Sheffield Wednesday, Hartlepool United, Tranmere Rovers, Oldham Athletic, Notts County, Walsall, Chesterfield, Bury, Shrewsbury Town, Accrington Stanley, Bradford City, Burton Albion, Crewe Alexandra, Macclesfield Town, Morecambe, Port Vale, Rotherham United, Northampton Town.

personally would like morecombe again, because there is no way we could play as badly as we did last year there..and i feel we owe them one..

also if we are really desperate for money i hope we put a half decent team out this year

or rotherham so we can see the chuckle brothers

a championship team can get quite far in this competition if they play it right as all of the premier league and a majority of fellow championship teams but out their reserve teams, including us last season. I know it's not considered an important trophy by some but when you're as skint as we are then surely we must take every competition seriously

As a Manchester-based Sky Blue... I'm just happy that we've squeezed into the northern half of the draw! Means a trip to the Ricoh would be one of the longest I can get.

Personally hoping for Crewe away... always used to score bucket-loads against them, also remember us demolishing Macclesfield in the cup about 10 years ago

The same Crewe where we lost 4-1 once?

Well yeah... I was at that one too... Was hungover as anything, met my old man at the station and lost my specs... All in all a bad day

Call it the exception that proves the rule

Ha ha I remember the grown bloke next to me who had a big bet on 6-0 and started crying when Huckerby scored the 7th

I'd like Sheff Weds. Got quite a few Weds supporter mates, would make good banter!

Northampton Town or Notts County away. Closest away games we could have.

Live outside Crewe, got a Crewe season ticket as I go with my mates and they are dirt cheap!
So really want it to be Crewe away this year, obviously I'll be in the away end, but I'll get a fair bit of stick if we lose :S

Walsall away is always a good fixture, especially if travelling by train!

But as long as we take it serious (or atleast more serious than last year) i dont care whos on the losing side
