In one of the best fights EVER by a British boxer Carl Froch beat Lucian Bute tonight for the IBF Super Middleweight Title by stopping him in the 5th round.

Cautious first two rounds but then Froch took Bute apart with non stop combinations from the third.

The American referee was seriously negligent in not stopping the fight in the 5th after Froch's final onslaught when Froch punched him to a standstill with the ref looking on.

A fabulous performance from a very underrated British boxer - well done Carl.
