But what baker is saying isn't what fans want to hear is it?

You have no evidence to support any of these claims do you?

There are many that don't want to hear various things going on with our club and try to find someone else to blame when it goes against what they like to believe........

I would prefer to believe Baker as there was no need for him to say anything. But nothing would surprise me about my club anymore.

The deal was done so that we paid a remainder of the contract over a period of 12 months, I have inside information, pretty much like when I came on here saying the council would fuck us over and was met with the same responses as today... nevermind hey.

Ok i'll take your word for it, but wouldn't it of been easier to pay his contract up in full?

Been well documented before we are still paying him off.

Also I am sure you are knowledgeable enough to remember that no former employee is going to state the real facts on social media for all to see are they now...

Robins came out and spoke about someone other than owners, and now Baker has done the same.

It's obviously all bullshit though as it doesn't fit in with the agenda.

It's his job...

It amazes me that I've taken this from his Facebook page and you think he's out trolling, when he has no reason too. Nor had he a reason to even comment on todays news. He has even attended a few games with City fans since he left us, I guess just to gloat at us?

I'm not sure what's controversial here about what Baker is saying. Doesn't this basically read as it being Pressley that decided Baker should be sold? Would anyone dispute that - if so on what evidence?

As for Baker caring about the club, why wouldn't he? Lots of fans (though not all) took to him, he lived in the city (and I think still does), and he had some good times here. I'm sure as a professional he'll still be doing his best to beat us on Saturday, like every other player returning to a previous club. That doesn't really upset me personally.

I should also invest in dictionaries for the rush of people looking up what a fact actually is. Although print media's dying.

All this is true, still you would not slag off an ex employee would you to then face charges in a court of law for slander etc would you and not one who still pays your bills.

Anyway moving on, congrats on being a stalker on FB, I suppose you was one of the melts who clapped McSheffrey scoring and will no doubt have your tongue so far up Bakers arse Saturday

Surely it's only slander if it's malicious, false or defamatory? I.e lies.

it's also only slander if it's spoken. Written or typed defamation is libel

So you work for example, Tesco, Tesco then say sorry Stupot were letting you go but can only pay you x amount with the remaining over x period, your mate on FB asks you so what was the managerial set up like who made decisions, your not going to come out and say well the top boss who still pays me x is a right wanker, but my manager was ok some faults here and there but overall a real shame he let me go are you.

Do not be drawn into the merry go round that is SISU and their terms and conditions they put into place ( like most football clubs do) for former employees etc not to spout bad press about them.

Believe what you like everyone will have different agenda's etc but have you ever heard SISU tell the truth about anything?

You probably wouldn't assume Tesco are flesh-eating lizards out for human blood by the same token.

Surely if there's a non-disclosure agreement in any severance package for Baker, he wouldn't be allowed to say anything?

SISU told Pressley we could not afford to keep Baker, Baker DID fall out of favour towards the end of the season remember, due to the budget being cut by 50% it was not longer viable to keep Baker as a luxury. Does this clear it all up for you and we can now all move on to the bigger picture not someone who had one good season and is given hero status because he says a few nice things on Facebook.

So what you're saying is that both Pressley and Baker, who have both said it was entirely Pressley's desicion, are both outright lying in some big cover up to protect SISU?

Who's to say your 'inside source' hasn't been 'economical' with what he's told you? You're saying we should take your word over his, because you said so,

And if someone was asking me on FB about Tesco's management, I wouldn't be answering the question.

Just because someone isn't quite as bitter about ex-players as you are doesn't make them a stalker. If Baker was as tied into SISU as you seem (without evidence) to be suggesting, then why would he say anything at all? It seems a bit like you're looking for an excuse to hate Baker. Did he run over your dog or something?

Amazes me some the intelligent posters we have on here all jumping at Bakers comments licking his arse, and taking his words as factual statements, hes just replying in the best way possible without causing any conflict with those who still pay his salary yes that is right, we still pay a minority of the contract cancelled for him to play for MK Dons.

So why would he come out and explain exactly what has happened, his answers do not represent the facts at our club but those at other clubs which are ran with football people at the helm.
I think you will find that the value of paying up his contract diminish as he has taken another job, they pay it monthly as if he is still with the city and as soon as he makes himself unavailable by signing for another club it reduces dramaticallt

Sheff also speaks;

@sheebagee: good opportunity for someone to be a hero at the RICOH and bring some pride back to our city, need quality not quantity from now on #pusb⚽️

@sheebagee: @damesifference a manager and his methods makes a huge difference, getting the best out of players is nothing to do with revenue etc

@sheebagee: Tbf it's hard to replace some of the players Pressley lost and chose to move on, signed about 8 wingers since myself and bakes were surplus

Also adds that Eric Black was decent!

Baker related news; Robinson considering resting him at the weekend. That would certainly stop the guaranteed goal against us if it's the case.

If Stephen hadn't of wasted his budget on contracts such as Miller, Pugh, Johnson and Tudgay, we may not of needed so many loans...
