Player of the season. Genius management giving him the captaincy.
Fair play Carl. You clearly care

Silly booking today aside, he is beginning to show his best attributes. I've not always been a fan, but since hes had the armband, hes been a different player.

That said, hes got himself a rest next week through a very daft booking today (of which I expect him to get fined for)

Pulled back the keeper when he was going to throw the ball out quickly.

Some absolute twat near me shouted 'fuck off and die Baker'. Literally 3 seconds later Baker put the ball in the net.

He was at fault for their goal, he needlessly gave the ball away which led to the throw in, then didn't close the crosser quickly enough. Bell would have been slaughtered for doing that.

He gave the ball away seconds before their goal, maybe that was why.

Bell wouldn't have got two goals back to make up for his error

He was pretty dire to begin with but soon got in his stride

Maybe he was worried about getting a booking for a rash challange and being suspended? He was on 4 yellows at that point.

No it was just sloppy play, was poor for the 20 mins but excellent thereafter.

He was awful first 20 mins but then again the whole side made sloppy mistakes for the first 20 mins. He improved immensely after his first goal

I was merely making a point. And imo its a true statement; he wouldn't have got two goals today. How's that a dig?

Many said baker would be of no use to us either

Bell will thrive in our current formation imo

A hell of a lot people on here have been skating baker.

I think Bell has great skill however we could free up his wages and do well as proven recently
