Consistently being in the playoffs from the start of the season and actually looking like going up. If we play Sheff Utd in the semis we’ve got no chance of going up this season.
Lampard has no credit in the bank for me , i judge him in the here and now , thats it
Miss out il be annoyed but he gets next season and if he doesnt make the playoffs hes out
He's 4th in the table since he was appointed. No one thinks we're better than 4th surely? We were only 7 points from the playoffs mate when robins left , he did a good job mid season but its in danger of falling away as dramatically as last year .
10 points from our last 10 games if we lose , same as last season
How long did you give Robins?

Robins had already lost at home to Swansea, Wednesday, Norwich and Derby, the season had barely got going. Lampard has only lost at home to Leeds and Burnley.
He's dealt pretty well with some bad injury issues, aside from maybe the keeper.
Ultimately saying it would be a failure just doesn't compute to me, disappointing yes, but he didn't shit the bed at the start of the season, he was recovering another managers mess.
This whole conversation is based on us losing anyway, personally I think we win then the above is undeniable. People laughed when King said 'top 6 deck' because they didn't want to accept a failure in management. Come Saturday afternoon it could be an actual fact.
Well he got us promoted first full season , then he got us promoted again and then he got us to the championship playoffs so he had plenty in the bank
Not in his 2nd full season he didn't
Lampard has a win percentage of 50% with us - I’d say that’s not bad.

No we finished 8th after being promoted , do you have a point
You can break it down to any amount of games that suits though can't you. If we win Saturday no one will care about the last 10 and the general concensus will be that Lampard has done an incredible job. Not just within the club either.15th in the last 10 games though , hence why I dont care about mid season
You gave Robins time after being promoted from League 2 yet Lampards in a higher league & you're only giving him one season

If we miss out many of us will not think hes done an incredible job though
Nobody will care if we make it , everybody will be happy
I don't know if I'm anti Robins. I was openly one of the few that thought it was best he was moved on and fully stand by it. I think you yourself actually came to this conclusion eventually too.But everyone said it was the poor start and the previous seasons finish so they'll be some goal post moving going on by the weird anti Robins crowd.
For the record, I'm happy with the job Lampards doing, my expectation if we don't go up is for him to have us around the play off places and fighting for top 6 and that was the same expectations I had of Robins and it will be the same for the next man.
I would think he's done a good job - we were 17th when he joined - I only expected mid-table or a bit higher & even that would've been a bonus

I think there's already some post moving from the anti Lampard crowd as there's no way anyone expected us to be here come the end of the season.
I've said before if Lampard is backed in the summer and has a, let's call it, a Robins style start, he will also rightly be on thin ice.
But if you hit a purple patch like we did after new year and then drop off isn't that a failure?
Asking g for some posters from the 22-23 season?
When Lampard took over we were looking like we were in a relegation battle. We were just 2 points out of the relegation places. With 1 game to go we're in 6th with a home game left and we've been strong at home.Well he got us promoted first full season , then he got us promoted again and then he got us to the championship playoffs so he had plenty in the bank

There's a difference between doing a good job and progressing the club.
He's certainly done a great job and got the season back on track k but whether he progresses the club, time will tell.
I just don't think that if we don't go up he'll get us challenging for the autos, currently 31 points behind, finished 30 points behind last season. That's asking a manager for miracles.
Both sides are guilty of double-standards.There's an anti Robins contingent on here and I find them weird given what he achieved but I'm keeping g an eye out for their double standards!
Have we dropped off? We've still been in & around the playoffs
Under Lampard, we’re 5 points off Sheff U and only 14-15 points from Burnley and Leeds. It’s not that far away and there’s a huge gap in budgets, comparatively.
Going into this season, there were pretty significant gaps in the squad that you’d assume will be built upon this summer. He came in off the back of the team underperforming, the bedding in period was the busiest section of the season and the team had several key players missing. We’ve been the 4th best team in this division since he took over and that is a significant achievement.
It hasn’t been perfect, our away form hasn’t been good enough, particularly against the bottom teams. However, there’s a strong foundation to build on going into next season.
The next progression is to consistently be Top 4 next season and compete in the playoffs again.
This season, even if we make the playoffs, my instinct is that it’s ’too soon’ for us. To remain optimistic, we can beat anyone at home in the playoff 1st leg and then winning a one off game at Wembley (if we get there) is doable.
We’ve improved our league position compared to the previous season and with a few astute signings we should be able to give it a proper go next season.
Both sides are guilty of double-standards.
I think there's a double standard the other way too, people call out the manager way quicker and make far less excuses than they did for Robins. Is the squad still not good enough like it wasn't for Robins, for example? It's the same squad except with a pile of injuries chucked on top too. There's an anti Robins contingent on here and I find them weird given what he achieved but I'm keeping g an eye out for their double standards!
I don't think we will be consistently top 4 and I don't expect it.
Generally there were some very dramatic people on here saying we were in a relationship battle when we were 7 points off 6th and all the stats had us as one of the best teams in the division that couldn't take its chances .Under Lampard, we’re 5 points off Sheff U and only 14-15 points from Burnley and Leeds. It’s not that far away and there’s a huge gap in budgets, comparatively.
