I didn't say that.

With everyone fit and firing Allen would be on the bench.

Do you have any quotes or evidence at all he intended to play them together?

If we had a fully fit Dabo and Maatsen playing last night, we win that game. Bidwell put in a couple of decent balls in the 2nd half, but Cardiff gave us space out wide, and we just don't have the attacking options in those positions. Kane should of started, and Burroughs should of come on for Bidwell 2nd half.

You really think the intention was to sign Palmer on big wages and play Jamie Allen ahead of him?!

When has a manager ever made a signing and set out in public who the signing will play alongside? Do you have any quotes where he states that Palmer is to play second fiddle to Allen?

Here's Godden just after Palmer signing. Pretty clear cut.

“Yes, 100 per cent, and with two of them there they are going to be pretty lethal,” he said. “That’s a striker’s dream to have two players of that quality behind them, and we’re all looking forward to that.”

Ah Matty Godden the source of strategic info - I’m sure he was in the room when Robins and Viveash signed him - we signed Waghorn on a high wage — we increased Kelly’s contract on a higher wage - we increased goddens wage and at the same time signed Waghorn and had gyokeres in the squad.

Kelly isn’t playing - Waghorn isn’t playing

we extended Tavares to 2025 and he’s never playing

We also were happy to sell ohare to Burnley

You actually seem now to be saying Palmer can’t play without someone doing the running around for him

Fully fit Robins will prefer Allen every time - wait and see

super comeback. Also I assume as as signed bidwell on a 3.5 year contract and who unlike Palmer wasn’t paid off to get rid of by Swansea he’s a regular for years to come?

Perhaps Matty Godden can confirm as he’s in on recruitment?

Perhaps Kompany will now look to Palmer

Then again…

Burnley manager Vincent Kompany has ruled out a move for free agent Cristiano Ronaldo as the Clarets apparently "need players who can run".

Do you not tire of being a relentless bellend?

Like last night when you claimed nobody has said Palmer is lazy only for it to be proven that they have... By you

Another super comeback and actually now desperate - as I say let’s revisit and see how Palmer gets on.

You now fail to answer any points at all - you’ve backed him I think he’s a poor poor signing in relative terms and no other club would have touched him in this league

We will see whose correct

You said no club in this league would touch Hyam, but they did.

You don't rate Palmer, that's fine, it's just the shit you talk with it that's the problem. Case in point last night when you made yourself look a total tit with the lazy comment.

Well you said Hyam was our best defender - better than Mcfazdean

You first came to my attention when you claimed Burge was a great championship level keeper with some bizarre stills of a goal Marosi conceded - you’ve retained laughing stock status ever since

The problem with your 'spreadsheet', apart from making things up like that Burge comment, is that you have always said something more stupid than anyone else.

You literally wanted Kenny Jackett to replace Mark Robins which is genuinely the stupidest comment ever committed to this crazy forum.

And certainly a peculiar opinion when now using “Robins won’t pick Palmer so he’s shit” as your get out.

That's the problem when he makes such absurd arguments at times, eventually they come back to make him look stupid. Palmer being lazy was a classic last night.

Palmer isn’t lazy but he isn’t intelligent with his defensive work. He may run like a lunatic and dive into tackles at times but he is mostly extremely passive off the ball and regularly out of position. There’s a reason no manager he’s ever had has trusted him to be a regular starter

problem is it doesn’t work properly and then when you open the bonnet you find the reason - someone has put a Hillman Imp motor in it. If only the buyer had checked beforehand.

A little game time and Palmer will come good. He makes a lot of space for himself.

Last night Dabo clearly was not fit. What has Burroughs done wrong?Think Bidwell played to orders in the first half(deeper) Pushed forward more second half we looked better for it.The number of times the ball could not be crossed no one in the box.
.As for Allen and Wilson lots on here think they know better than MR.Think Allen won the ball back more times than anyone else.If the haters of Wilson care to look at the top ten keepers in the championship this season they will find him well up there.
Why we are not behind the all our players beats me.

It’s the one thing I’ll gladly concede on; he’s excellent on the ball but I was half-surprised he wasn’t brought off at 60-70 mins. Still, in that time he had a few shots and set up Allen for what should have been a goal.

Come off it. If Robins had the budget for a goalkeeper the quality of Nicholls he'd have him over Wilson.

They literally just take the number of goals conceded & divide by matches played.

Wilson ranks about average for shot stopping (based on expected goals), and a little below average for claiming crosses.

For comparison Moore ranks quite high for claiming crosses, but one of the worst for shot stopping.

Wilson is pretty rubbish and we definitely need a new no1, but his stats are OK and the general standard of keeping in this league is not as good as some think. The likes of Jones and Lumley are far worse

If Robins had the budget buying a keeper in our league he would go for Foderingham he hasn't .I don't rate Nicholls as high as you do matter of opinion I suppose. Think Wilson is as good a shotstopper as most in this league. The other parts of his game can and probably are being worked on .There are other more pressing problem than goalkeeper that need addressing.
