My moneys on either Bristol or Southampton. The cup always throws in those fixtures against a team we’ve not long played or are about to play

Would like a L2 team ideally. Another win would be good for morale. After that not too bothered.

Agree. Leyton Orient or Cambridge United would be good, and hope we turn up on the day and do the job.

add Cheltenham to that list. Gives Rose an opportunity to feel his way back in. Get through that and then pick up some TV money and bow out. The prize money for progressing in that competition is diabolical (about £7,500 if we get through next round?)

Also add Newport - they've actually got their pitch in decent condition (had to check twice on Quest that it was really them) It also gives opportunity for Grendel to comment on Ryan Haynes, which is always worth a chuckle!

Want either the easy team in the hat or the hardest one. Not really fussed if we go out as it’s just more games in what’s already an incredibly busy period, but don’t fancy a game that’s going to be a slog.

Wow can’t believe some would want us to play a League 2 team - things haven’t changed that much, we’re still Coventry City

Definitely want the easiest team. More chance of the prize money for getting through and also hopefully wouldn't be as tiring as playing a good team that we're chasing all game knackering ourselves out. Need as much energy for the league as possible.

Can't use the argument of big team for big gate receipts with no-one being allowed in.

With no money from big crowds then the further we progress, the better it is for us, and we might be allowed in for later rounds so easy draw is always best

GGGGGGrrrrrrrrrrr - at least fans haven't got to go there.

Edit: forgot there was going to be the Round 3 draw - perhaps that will make it more exciting!

Away which is good as imagine the cup payments for ground rent must be separate and little chance to make money from fans.

Glad no fans allowed, that’s a pig of a trip
Good draw, avoid the nasty ones until more money stands to be made (hopefully)
