... which reminds me of one of my favourite quotes by the late Justin Fashanu from some years back after he came 'out'. Having been brought up in a period when racism was much more common place, he was asked if he found it more challenging to have grown up black or gay, he said "Definitely being gay because I didn't have to tell my parents that I was black"
