Captaincy (1 Viewer)

With the recent string of poor results and players arguing on the field, it feels like we're lacking effective leadership during matches.

Eccles and Lati have stepped in as captains while Sheaf has been injured, but aside from Lati getting a yellow card for arguing with the referee, there doesn't seem to be a strong presence on the pitch.

The absence of an experienced, natural leader is a concern. When we had Fadz, he was always vocal and giving instructions. Since then, I can't recall any of the three captains stepping up in that same way.

It seems like the lack of a proper captain is only adding to the problems we're facing at the moment.

Sone players need to learn self motivation first

wonder if the captain can stop Thomas gobbing off at MVE today? Kitchen keeps having a go at Lati as well!

Sheaf was captain last season and nothing was wrong there. He made his first start at the weekend.

Outside of that, yes there is a lack of leaders.

Our results when Sheaf plays are worse than when he doesn't, based on the last two seasons.

This year his appearances have been a joke. If the team drops performance when he's on the pitch that's a pretty big failure indication of a captain.

We need real leadership, the OP is right, but it isn't Sheaf.
