Yep, and JOB probably as vice captain. Being captain isn't all about the 90 mins on the pitch.

Have to say i fully agree! Ricketts has the perfect attributes for a captain, but initially i thought would he play enough at 33? Stupot is right however, its not just on the pitch where it counts, he is a leader throughout!

Yep, Ricketts for me. Don't mind O'Brien either though. Might be Johnson in the mix now that he's signed.

Ricketts, without a doubt. Mowbray as already quoted him as a leader figure. Jo'b not for me, his shouting and moaning was not constructive to the team

wouldnt go that far think he adds something to the game if he would just hold his position and not chase the ball like a mad fucker, it is worrying that he didnt seem to be able to play 90 minutes under mowbray last season probably because he was chasing the ball for 70 mins like a puppy

Perhaps JOB was running here, there and everywhere because he knew how poor the rest of the team was and decided he had to shoulder a lot of the burden himself? I'd like to see how he gets on with decent players around him.

Definitely should be J.O.B. by far the best leader on the pitch last season and, my player of the season.

I'm not a job fan, I'm hoping we sign better players and he doesn't even feature in the first 11. Ricketts is a shoe in for skipper IMO.

Johnson should be captain, he was captain before it all went tits up last season so he did a job.

O Brien, is ok but he played better at the start of last season without the armband.
